Mirror's Edge... But I finished it TWICE in one sitting!
That's a good 4 hours then.

Just joking ;)

It was kinda short though.
It took five... but it was STILL longer than Portal.
No way... hang on...

(six seconds later)

... sorry, just took a break to play through Portal there.

What was I saying?

Oh yeah... Portal's not short, you crazy!

Mystic Heroes, took about 3 hours. generally, though, i don't get long enough to be able to finish a game in one sitting, only did managed to do Mystic Heroes in one sitting because i was staying at a friends and woke up early.

That game was very short for me too..

...because I brought it back to the shop after the first half an hour.

Lets see...

Well, there's the old-school 2-D Mario platformers, Viewtiful Joe, Megaman 2, Portal, the 2-D Sonic platformers, and a bunch of other old school games I don't care to name.

You kids today have it easy, back in MY day, you HAD to beat games in one sitting, or not at all (unless you were playing Zelda or a Megaman game).

I remember the first SIMS game.... wow i spend a LOT of time just controlling everything.
For console it has to be Oblivion, I spend HOURS I havent finish that game

I think Splinter Cell Double agent is the longest game i have finished in one sitting.

World of Warcraft

I think the only game I've beaten in one setting was Spyro 3, although I did complete it 100%, and I think it took me about 8-10 hours (I was probably 9/10 at the time). And even then I only did it out of necessity, I had no memory card at the time and wanted to complete the game properly.

Gun for the 360
I completed the whole game and everything in it in one sitting.
Finished the game, turned xbox off, turned xbox back on next day, loaded up Gun, realised the whole time i never made one save.

I've never finished a game in a single sitting. The only time I've ever come close to doing that is when I finished Bioshock 2 over the course of two days.

Magical Starsign for the DS. Beat it completely, 100%, with all of the eggs within 22 hours. I made six of my friends buy it just so I could get the egg characters.

Dragon Age: Origins

I did as much side quests as I could do and the main quest in one sitting, about a 50hr playthrough in one sitting. I had a lot of Nos Energy Drinks to help keep me up.

Blaster Master for the NES. 3 lives, 5 continues, no save feature meant it had to be finished in one sitting.

I had a 4 day weekend from school in the PSX days and I had the house to myself for that time, I 100%'d Star Ocean: The Second Story for a total of like 30-40 something hours, getting up for bathroom and food only. Funny thing is, after I did that I wanted to get Opera so I played a new file to the point of getting her afterwards.

I beat mass effect a total of 7 times, and for my eighth play through i did a speed run, in one sitting. Took me either 2hrs 45 min, or 3 hrs 45min I cant remember. Of course I skipped all conversations, and side quests.

Metal Gear Solid... without skipping the cutscenes.
I want to see see someone beat a Shin Megami Tensei game though because if you can do that you're an god.

Not sure if this counts, as it's not really "beating", but I unlocked everything in Soul Calibur 3 in one sitting... if I said how long it took, no one would believe me...

Back during the League of Legends closed beta, it was only playable on weekends, so there were quite of few of us with 40+ hour gaming sessions every weekend.
