Hmmm, I'd say about 8 hours when I played all of Halo 3's campaign straight with 3 friends on launch day.

I never wanted to fork out for memory cards for the Nintendo 64, and none of the games I owned ever required them, but whenever I got a game out from a video store over the weekend that required one it was guaranteed that the nintendo was staying on until that game got returned. I can't think of how many games this would have specifically applied to, but I remember it happening a couple of times.

I was found to be playing Oblivion for 13 hours straight, i just lost track of time. but to leave the console on for the longest was playing SSB:Melee, i had to leave the console running for 24 hours to fight challenger "Mewtwo".

If the PC counts, then 24 hours playing WoW

If we're talking about actual consoles, then probably my Gamecube with Phantasy Star Online, trying to reach Very Hard difficulty in one day. Playing through Normal and Hard modes cost me about 16 hours because of the maze-like Caves.(I always get lost there, and it takes me an average of 3 hours to complete)

That must have been 10 hours playing Baldur's Gate 2 over LAN with a friend. From 6 PM to 4 AM.
And then two hours of sleep before getting ready to go to work :/

I tried to complete Half-life on PS2 in one sitting. Just before I got to Xen, I quickloaded and the game froze.

Probably around 8-10 hours.

Unless my old PC counts, in which case I have no idea because I rarely turned it off (which is likely why it died).
