On a console I think it was about 9-11 hours straight of Guitar Hero (I believe it was world tour). We had all our arms amputated afterwards :p

I never wanted to fork out for memory cards for the Nintendo 64, and none of the games I owned ever required them, but whenever I got a game out from a video store over the weekend that required one it was guaranteed that the nintendo was staying on until that game got returned. I can't think of how many games this would have specifically applied to, but I remember it happening a couple of times.
Same here. I got tired of losing my progress in Penny Racers, and none of my 3 memory cards worked for it (or did I not have them at the time?) Looking back, I can't believe that Nintendo worked for 3 days straight. Now, it can only get in a couple hours before something happens.

I left my computer on all night while in a game of Master Crafters for Warcraft3 Battlenet.

My Xbox360 froze up after 12 hours of straight gaming. Imagine, an N64 beating out an Xbox360 in some way, shape, or form.

Sarah dropped her (rare) weapon fighting the last boss in Phantasy Star Online (Dreamcast) and she phoned me at work in the morning asking me what to do. I knew if she quit then the weapon would be lost forever so I told her to leave it on until I was back from work (anout 8hrs).

Playing WoW was a pain: when I was a healer I had to add 3-8hrs onto the time I wanted to leave to get the time I actually left. So glad I quit WoW over a year ago now :)

RPGs like Final Fantasy IX kept me going for 10 hour stints over night.#

There's nothing worse than seeing the sun rise the next day and realising you've f'ked up any chance of going outside and enjoying what should have been your chance to contribute to society. As I dragged my sorry carcass up to bed any glory of completeing a mission/defeating a boss/completing the game was overthrown by Sarah's anger of being woken up at 6am.

I had bought the small version of the first Playstation a few days prior to christmas. I can't remember if the game was a present or if I bought it myself, but my brother and I were determined to unlock all the characters in Kensai - Sacred Fist, I think that's the name. But since I didn't have a memory card for it we had to leave it on for like forever because we were unsure how to unlock the last two. I think it was on for two or three days.

My longest sessions were always with a buncha friends, playing a game from start to finish. We did a 40-odd hours marathon on FFX from beginning to end, then killing off Penance (yes, we cheated. Or else, killing Penance would take closer to 200 hours continuous play). But that was with a friend though.
Another one was 10 hours Silent Hill run.
The longest was probably a 60 hours Lunar:Silver Star Story binge. Yes, we played the entire frikkin weekend.

My personal longest was definitely a LAN session with friends over CS, HL:Death Match and a buncha other mods. I think that one went on for about 14 hours. (We started bright and early in the morning, and went all the way through to late dinner)

My PS3 was open for 2 and a half days just to get the easier-to-get emblems which require the game to be finished in more than 30 hours.

I regularly leave my PC on for days at a time...
Wait... PC's have an off switch?

During my WoWcrack addiction and the height of raiding in TBC I'd be on from waking up to sleeping on weekends to farm consumables and alike.

I spent 47 hours playing a bunch of different games most notably Mafia and Blazing Angels. Blazing Angels was online and I feel im quite the dogfighter on that game.

Probs GTA IV as that's the only game that told me how long I had played non stop. I think it was about 10 hours.

Most have a button.
Mine has both.

Because it's cool.
All PCs have an off switch, just look on the back where the PSU is.
