Well I regualarily can play games for 10 hours on end but the longest was when I didnt have a memory card and I wanted to play through FF7. It said on the back of the box "Try FF7 without [a memory card]". I think it took three days lying on before I finally got the card.

7 hours 36 minutes playing GTA 4 on the 360 the night before an exam so I could concentrate on all my other exams without wanting to play it.

Arouund 36 hours playing WoW when TBC and LK came out. I no longer play WoW...

I'm ashamed to say I've played games past hallucinations formed from toxins flooding my body due to sleep deprivation.
your joking right? I mean i know that is possible because there have been cases of it but are you one of those cases or are you all just forum talk?

Back when i was addicted to WoWcrack i got up at 12 on sunday morning and played all day only stopping for dinner and toilet breaks and i played right through til 4am i think?

I was found to be playing Oblivion for 13 hours straight, i just lost track of time. but to leave the console on for the longest was playing SSB:Melee, i had to leave the console running for 24 hours to fight challenger "Mewtwo".
I did that too, he was kind of disappointing to play as.

GTA IV I would play for hours, longest being about 10-11 hours straight.

On PC I'd play City Of Heroes until I was physically unable to move the mouse, so that'd be a good few hours I'd imagine =s

Dead serious, I'm afraid. I have a funny story involving mad trippin' after an all nighter of Black and White that I tell everyone.

It's really long.

Maybe I'll post it here sometime.

To be fair, I have no clue what the fuck "PSU" stands for, so you have me there.

Acronyms aren't something I concern myself with.
Because I hate them.
That's an initialism, not an acronym. And it means 'Power Supply Unit'.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acronym_and_initialism
They appear to be interchangable.
Only because people don't know the difference. 'PSU' as an acronym would be 'Piss-You' or something similar; not really the best of 'words'.
Dictionary.com disagrees with you.

ac⋅ro⋅nym

?noun
1. a word formed from the initial letters or groups of letters of words in a set phrase or series of words, as Wac from Women's Army Corps, OPEC from Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or loran from long-range navigation.
2. an acrostic.

in⋅i⋅tial⋅ism

?noun
1. a name or term formed from the initial letters of a group of words and pronounced as a separate word, as NATO for North Atlantic Treaty Organization; an acronym.
2. a set of initials representing a name, organization, or the like, with each letter pronounced separately, as FBI for Federal Bureau of Investigation.
3. the practice of using initials or forming words from initials.

Both examples contain acronyms that are pronounced as words in their own right. It would seem that an initialism is merely a subsection of acronyms. Meaning that PSU is both an acronym and an initialism.

The first time i played my playstation 2, i had no memory card. i had ordered it and it was supposed to be there in a couple of days, so i figured id just leave the console run. turns out it didn't get there for a week, and by that time i had unlocked all of the content so long ago that it was really redundant to try and save...

The way i read the wiki, was that an acronym for Power Supply Unit would be something along the lines of 'Powupun' (although i'd assume someone would choose something that flowed a little better :p). 'PSU' would be an initialism, we agree there.

(Citations removed)

Most dictionaries define acronym to mean "a word" in its original sense, while some include a secondary indication of usage, attributing to acronym the same meaning as that of initialism. According to the primary definition found in most dictionaries, examples of acronyms would include NATO, scuba (self-contained underwater breathing apparatus), and radar (radio datection and ranging), while examples of simple abbreviations (initialisms) would include FBI and HTML

Though i like to think this sums it up rather well..

To stay on topic though, i used to have a serious WoW addiction, so when both BC and WotLK came out.. it was on like donkey kong.. Roughly 40 hours straight from release of both :(
