I know exactly what you mean, i'm not usually much of a gamer, but i regularly exceeded 18 hours on oblivion per day. i didn't eat or anything and lost about a stone while i was playing it, it was weird

I remember once I was playing Call of Duty 4, got called downstairs by my parents. Went down leaving the console on thinking that okay this will be short. After a *very* lengthy conversation about my new TAFE regime I then completely forgot about the game, went on youtube for a few minutes before finally sitting down in the lounge room to watch the entire movie 'American Psycho' from start to finish. Then got a phone call from an old female friend so I answered talked for a while, we made arrangements that I would meet her and her new girlfriend at the movies the following day, went back on youtube, surfed this forum for a while, getting into a conversation mentioning FPS games and when someone said:
"COD 4."
I was like:
"Oh shit."
three hours.

call of duty 4 launch day i was up for exactly 71 hours
42 miutes. all i remember is telling my friends
"i have to go to the bathroom." then black.
i just woke up the next day in my kitchen.

3 days is how long I spend whenever I get hooked.

my ps2 was on for 6 days and 7 hours because i played dragonball z and didnt want to lose my progress because i didnt buy the memory card XD. this ps2 is 5 years old now and still running smooth as silk never had any problems and dont think i will XD

And when halo came out my local zavi (RIP zavi)had the full game for people to play. Me and some random guy just stood there the entire day from open to close and completed it on legendary. Even the staff were supporting us near the end. It was a good day.

Well, on the weekends I wake up at about 7 and dont turn off my Xbox until about 1 or 2 AM the next morning so thats....what like 17 or so hours a day on the weekends? Damn....
