So youve won the lottery what will you buy?

I would buy many multitudes of games and maybe an epic apartment

Pretty boring and greedy, so I'll probably go all Scrooge McDuck, or buy ice-cream!

Though I think I'll get a kick-ass sound system.

I've got a list of things I'll immediately buy after an unexpected windfall. Maybe buying lottery tickets would help my chances of actually winning. Either way the list includes, among other things, a tablet laptop and a Fender Jaguar HH, (Special Edition.)

Well, that depends.

If the lottery was bankrupt BEFORE I won, I'd be super pissed off and go on a bloody rampage, hurting anyone in my vicinity.

Although if it was in it's highest peak, and I won, I'd be super glad and start humping other females around me and later apologize on my talk show live a prosperous life.

Than spend it on whatever I deemed to be worthy.

A house. With a super LAN room. It would be really long and narrow, so you could have built-in desks along each long wall.
The desks would have rounded edges so you don't cut your arms while leaning too much on sharp edges.
The desks would have foot rests underneath.
The walls would have holders for cables and tons of powerpoints. The floor would be concrete (easy to clean).
There would be two wire bins at the end of the room, one for cans, one for McDonald's wrappers.
There would be wire holders underneath for the computers, so they can have adequate airflow.
There would be awesome ergonomic chairs.
There would be good airconditioning so that nothing overheats.
There would be great monitors, and computers able to handle the graphic needs of any game at highest resolution.
There would be great mice, those $200+ ones with the adjustable weights.
There would be 6 or more computers, monitors and mice because then my friends need not transport their computers to my home.
And there would be a kick-arse sound system. For amosphere ;)

Ask for it in coins no higher in denomination than dimes, put it in a big bin and swim in it. Because I can.

And then buy a shitload of games and systems.

Depends on the amount.

Assuming anything greater than say £2million, put £500,000 in a savings account straight off the bat (assuming a decent interest rate) just in case everything else goes tits up. If I've stumbled into that much cash once in my life I sure as hell want to be in a position that I don't have to work again in my life.

After that? Set up my Internet Cafe/Business of choice as a "hobby" and possibly go back to University for kicks.

Maybe set aside £100,000 to dabble in stocks/random investments just for kicks.

Assuming its about £10 million, I'd split 1 mill amoung my friends and family, spend 1 million on a flat, furnishings and other stuff and stick the rest in a high interest account and use the interest to suppliment my income (yes, I'm a boring accountant)

The lottery is the "stupid tax", as I like to call it. I'd never play it, so I'd never win it.

I'd buy three PS3s. Kudos for the reference.

Your odds of winning are just as good if you don't buy a ticket, comrade.

I would put away $100 000 for education.
I would put away $600 000 for a house.
I would put away $1 000 000 for myself, later on in life.
I would give away $2 000 000 to friends and my sister.
I would donate the rest to a charity/multiple charities, that I trust.

I'd have a hard time winning since i don't play, but if i ever were to win I would invest at least 2/3 of it, to make sure I could work voluntary the rest of my life.
