We've all had them. Hell, there's probably a dozen other thread on them, but I want to know.

What were those moments where you figured out a completely obvious puzzle, got so frustrated by a boss you threw the control, or gave up and only later realised you were seconds from victory.

Personally, my crowning moment was in Rome: TW against my mate. A truly spectacular battle left me with three spartan units (for a total of 12 troops) and he had three chariot archers (not three units, three troops). The chariots were faster than the spartans so they kept runing off and killing my men. It went on long enough that I quit and admitted defeat. The next thing I know, my friend (it was a LAN game at his house) is rolling on the floor laughing his ass off. The reason? His troops ran out of arrows seconds before I quit.

The only reason he didn't get a broken jaw is because I started laughing too.

One of the portal 2 puzzles - struggled for ages with it, got so frustrated I quit playing for a full day. When I get back I do the puzzle in 5 min, and the solution was what I had been doing all the time before.... just not realized where to put that last portal...

There was this SC2 game where I GG'ed after losing my army .. only to realise upon watching the replay my harassment actually killed every single one of my opponent's probes ..

So, while he still had units, I could actually make more 'cos I had income.
From the looks of it, it might have taken another 15 minutes, but I would probably have won.

Pretty boring, really...

Here's another starcraft one, but it's not about me ... it's about IdrA.
He quit out of a game when he saw the sheer number of Huk's collossi .. only to be told later most of them are hallucinations (illusions, can't deal damage).

Fighting Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 9, he is insultingly cheap. But most recently was the final part in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It's an easy game even on the hardest difficulty but the final part of the final boss fight made me throw my controller because of the dodgey gameplay mechanics and some randoms one hit kill thing that kept getting me. Still don't know what the hell it was?
There has been so many other games but I cannot think of them this second, so many times I have wished death upon certain game developers and prayed I could cause some game disc's actual physical pain.

Psychonauts. The big acrobatic thing in the meat circus, those fiery nets made me rage quit so bad, next day I completed it first try.

Oh, how I could have killed someone then.

When I was trying to get all the stunts in InFamous, particularly, "Have a Nice Fall" (FYI, You had to throw 3 people off a rooftop simultaneously, which isn't hard within itself, but FINDING 3 guys ON a rooftop IS hard), so I was roaming around, and FINALLY, 2 guys spawn in what I assumed it was a high enough roof, and another one in an adjacent rooftop.

I shockwave'd the lone guy, so all 3 were on the same place, and I started to herd them so they would stay in one place together.

That never happened.

It took me 30 mins of "herding", recharging (Since I was playing on hard and they still packed a punch) and moving around, because, for some reason, one of them ALWAYS decided to go melee on my ass.

Finally, I remember "D'OH, YOU HAVE A SHIELD, DUMBASS", so I used it, and the minute I set it on, I get headshot, 5 times. FIVE TIMES. IN WHAT I ASSUMED IT WAS NO LESS THAN 2 SECONDS, and I DIED. I raged and I wanted to punch something. Problem is, I actually did.. and I broke my TV... Not the brightest idea.

Or the time I was battling the Final Boss in Prototype on Hard. ANY of those moments were "I want to punch something" moment.

Death streaks in CoD. But mainly when I keep getting killed by people I didn't even know were there, until killcam. Also, although it was a fun game, Just Cause 2 (and the first one in fact) had too many problems they should have fixed before release. or at least patched.

The MW2 campaign. Seriously the realization that I threw away 70 bucks for... "that" almost made me throw the game out the window.

RPGs usually make me want to punch things with their dialogue.

Like, just now, in The Witcher 2, after defeating the dragon at the end of the game, I got the option of killing it, or not killing it (though you wonder how it'd have survived in its current state, impaled through the chest by a freaking tree). Anyways, I killed it.

Then I got back to some NPC, and my character was all like "I had to kill it... it was under control of the sorceresses. But it was a shame to kill something so noble and great blahblah". I was like, what? The dragon tried to kill me at the start of the game, before it was under control of the sorceresses. It must've killed hundreds of people over the course of its life - it killed ~100 people during the last 20 minutes of its life, and pete only knows how long it was supposed to have lived. Thing was a mindless mass-murdering beast dangerous enough to destroy entire cities, but my guy wanted to spare its life because it was "noble"?

I wanted to punch somebody right then.

Alkaid dieing made me cry. DON'T YOU FUCKING JUDGE ME! She...she...
*sniffle* SHE WAS SUCH A SPUNKY BIIIITCH! ToT

But seriously, her death was painfully manipulative and the music was orgasmically depressing and I was angry at how the game was manipulating me to feel even more sad than I was and I ran after her killer with reckless abandon. DIE YOU FUCKING-Oh he look flower pedals...

Oh, cheesy "respect nature/animals" dialogue. Ugh. Yeah those make me want to club dragon babies in their man-eating snouts. It's an animal that showed no sign of sentience or care. I don't give a damn.

Black Ops campaign on veteran.

STOP SHOOTING ME THROUGH THESE SANDBAGS, DAMMIT.
I'd suggest you avoid playing Sniper: Ghost Warrior then. Seriously, the AI teleports bullets into your body.

Well, it doesn't really make me want to punch something. But, whenever a save file is corrupted and you lose an entire character... Yea, those instances make me put a game away for good.

Do you know in Minecraft, when you stroll through caves for ages, gather 10 diamond and 40 gold and then get blown to bits by a creaper?
