The most annoying kind of gamer?

Xbox Live players. And MW2 players. (Even though I only played MW2 during the free weekend.)

I am completely honest, I have not met a single person there that you can have a normal discussion with. They all scream, *****, whine and are just generally retarded.

They made me cancel my Xbox Live account because I just couldn't take it anymore.

dude my BF and I searched out normal people on X-Box Live it was a difficult as finding Kratos petting kittens and eating icecream. But it was done eventually now he only plays various matches in various FPS with only this group a people.

proof miracles can happen perhaps? lol

i love playing against teenage boys at halo multiplayer VIP.

so many times i have played there little "parties of eliteness" then my team member cuts out and i go on to kick all there butts. then turn on the mic and proudly say turn down the foul language and that they all got beat by a girl.. it makes me giggle.

also i am not great at any one game i am ok at a few.

To be honest, mostly the gamers "who aren't really gamers". The 12-14 year olds who think they're hardcore and scream hell 'n heaven about everybody sucking and them pwning when it's them actually doing the sucking. The people who run around an MMORPG like WoW and cry when the servers shut down once every three months. Basically, the whiny folks who will spew a stream of bile whenever they are given the slightest opportunity.

Well, seeing this topic I like to make a small list:
- The 1337 players: They who believe to be gamers because they play Halo and listen to "gamemusic". Not sure that even exists, but DotA would certainly make the list.
- The elitist:

Elitists who refuse to even play games of other genres because they've already concluded that they don't like them.

- The undeserved looter

On that note, those who hang back in battles then run forward and loot before the people who actually fought can get anything. :|

- The "cutesies"

The most annoying gamer to me is the kind that whines the entire game about everyone else's tactics, then tries to use said tactics, fails and whines some more. I've come across far too many lately.

Just a quick shortlist of my favorites, mostly named on page 1, so I'm not the only one who immediatly springs to these.

Honorable mention:

Also, one more, stuck-up chicks who think being an ~*omg gamerrr (this ties in with the DotA-listening morons) will make them automatically the 'hot ones' to all the desperate nerdy guys. Or something. As a female gamer this drives me up a wall and down the other side. Go away.

I find those sorts of girls beyond irratating. I'm over girls that think guys are sex obsessed (some are ofcourse, but so are some girls, its an issue for people of both sex's) and talk to us/act as tho they have to be 'sexy' to get our attention. Tbh having a good conversation &/or lots of laughs gets my interest far more then skimpy cloths.

I'm not saying all girls are, but I'm sick of the ones that are like that (unfortuently society also pushes that view :S).

OT: For gamers specificially, the type that go "your a camper" because I'd defending a strategic position or worse still cheaters. Then again the list is quite long.

Personally, I most hate people who are good and are jerks about it.

If you suck while being arrogant, you can get shut up by someone better.
If you're good but don't mock people, than even losing might be fun.

But being good, AND being a jerk... God I hate those people.

the second one. in every damn game i play online i can hear that fuckin song in the background and it isnt even good music... i can think of at least 5000 trance songs that are better than it.

and all those gamers suck anyway. they call me hax when i clean the map with their faces

Me... I hate the pretty much any arrogant prick who keeps a finger on the 'talk' button lest the verbal beatdowns actually sink in and he realize what a gigantic douche he is. (or since most of them are twelve year olds I would say tiny douche)

Ok, I hate 3 types of Gamers:

1. Campers: It is mostly annoying for me on BfBC2 (damn scouts) Always kill me as I'm walking along looking for people to kill/help. They are classic campers. The other day, I was killed by the same bloody scout 5 times in a row.

2. Team killers: Halo is most annoying for this. You get the flag/ bomb/objective and make it to the drop point and a player kills you and takes it there. Honestly what is the point in that. I got to a point to taking the flag and when I'm nearly there keep jumping and turning to stop assassinations and team kills.

3.Elitist: People who say that 'if you hate a X game you ain't a gamer', and gamers who have most of there games with full achievements. See I dislike MW2 because of the COD games fan base is... annoying. most of my friends (on XBL) play it and won't play any other online games.

I'm luckily I put a setting on my xbox so I can only hear my mates on Xbox live. So I have never heard little kids screaming in a mic.

But for me, this choice goes beyond hatred or annoyance, is the Team Killers. When it's by accident, it's kind of amusing.
"Sorry, Lone_Ra-Kachar (my username) didn't see you there."
"No problem. Did you get the other guy?"
"Haha! yeah."
"Just don't let it happen again."

That kind of TK is good, strengthens teams, in a way and teaches the other guy a valuable lesson. It's the other instances however that leave you REAGing, the WTF look on your face, the 10th time it's happened, those TK's are the worst online experiences I've encountered.

"I'm not."
"Yes you are, look at how many kills you've got!" (It's much higher than his)
"Well that's because I don't have to run to the other side of the map for a kill like you do." (He dies, respawns no where near the enemy. Fair call.)
"Fuck you, you fucking camper!" He's know knifed me, leaving me bewildered and losing my shit.

There's more but just thinking about it pisses me off.
