For me I really hate the 'elitists' or 'haters' or to be even more precise the 'PC gamer elitists'.
Thing is, I don't have anything against people playing on the PC over the console, I mean hell your right to play whatever system you want right? But as a console gamer, I have NEVER seen the same curtosy given to me by a supposed 'PC elitist'. I get told off for liking to play Halo on my Xbox 360 with lines like:
"Blah mainstream casual gamer crappy generic crapadoodle!"
And of course because I play on a console and I like Halo, naturally to them this means I must also be a hard drinking immature frat boy. Funny note though, I find plenty of these people who make fun of the way people on Xbox live act, then behave in a very similar fashion but are apparently justified because they play on PC.
Seriously, it's just the arrogant way that they tend to portray themselves as 'the master race' of gamers and that therefore they are totally justified to do the most lowly of actions which is to pick on people anonymously on the internet.
Bottom line, I often just want to grab them by the throat and yell very clearly:
"PLAYING ON A PC OVER A CONSOLE DOES NOT MAKE YOU INTELLIGENT, OR BRILLIANT OR A GOD AND IT CERTAINLY DOES NOT GIVE ONE THE RIGHT TO BULLY EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T PLAY ON THE PC!"
Furthermore I would add:
"ALSO GET OVER YOURSELF, IT DOES NOT TAKE A BRILLIANT GOD CHILD TO WORK OUT PC CONTROLS OVER CONSOLE, THERE MIGHT BE MORE ADDITIONAL BUTTONS BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE.... BUTTONS!! YOU PUSH BUTTONS, ANYONE COULD DO THAT!!"
However, I am usually able to keep this under control and I apologise if this post may have been deemed offensive to anyone, after all I am fully aware that not every person who plays on PC is like that, in fact most are just gamers like anyone else, but just those few out there who keep the arrogant attitude up... they annoy me.
