i hate gamers who think they are really hardcore....you know the kind of guys with a score like, 30 wins to two losses, then you fight them and they are really easy to beat, twenty seconds before the match ends they quit and it dosant count as a loss, then you get some message saying they left cause you were hacking or cheating or somthing like that.
That or the majority of under 18's on Xbox (cause everyone has a mic there), the kind that think their funny and cool, likke my brother
he's fourteen and he spends every second of game time on his mic chatting to his mates as loud as possible and telling other people they are not as good as him for reason X, and as soon as anyone says anything back to him he responds with, "just mute me"......i hate that
plus his name is ment to be somthing like CountChocular0845.....but he has spelt it wrong.....plus hes british!!!! why is he naming himself after an american cereal character...

Conversely enough, I've never met any of the annoying gamers. And I play a lot on XBL. Guess I'm lucky. But I've always wanted to meet one, in the same fashion that a scientist wants to see a rare animal to study it's behavior. I dislike them, but I also find them hilarious.
But I have to say those who say that you're not a real gamer until you've played game X. Shut the hell up, I've played since I was 2 years old, and I own over 100 games.

I'm not so sure about that one. Nothing beats a good, max input, musical face-pwning delivered to a server full of asshats. Don't get me wrong..although this will probably feel like a direct attack ("omg he's judging me, that bastard!") on your personality it merely comes down to the following question: what kind of a person are you? (no negative emphasis intended). In the end, I can't really know the answer to that...so I am asking. Why did you create this thread?
And although you are under no obligation to answer, it would be nice to see that you have the courage to do just that.

In all seriousness though, just about every DotA/LoL/HoN player is like your first example...And I mean the vast majority of them are like that, or else I just have really bad luck when it comes to ingame interactions...

I dislike: elitists, fanboys, 1337s, twitchy cs morons, ragers, hackers, exploiters, people who won't listen to a word anyone says and so forth
Most of them make me laugh(for a while), for example, while playing Heroes of Newerth(read dota) I join a lot of noob games because I'm not very skilled and mid-game when somebody dies the chat fills up with "ur such a noob!!!1". It makes me laugh every time

I think griefers are actually quite tolerable (which probably has something to do with the fact that I am one) but it is amusing to see how creative they are in games.
The fools that come on, flood chat and mic spam sex clips are just plain annoying, but people who use "situational music" are more than welcome into my games.
The worst kind of gamer is the screamer/squeaker. Little 10-year old Halo fans who believe they are superior to everyone else and start to curse with every other word once you start to argue. Not to mention they are sore losers and unpleasant winners.

I really do try to avoid a lot of online games nowdays, but I do play some 1v1 stuff, so in those games the type who irk me are rage quitters, If I bothered to connect the mic I am sure I could come up with tons of other stuff too, but I don't.

The little 12 year olds that join your live parties just to call everyone there a "******" then leave. If your gonna act hard at least stay to have the insults thrown back at you.
