I remember back when Left 4 Dead first came out and I played online on the 360, some kid tried to have my voted out of the game even though I said absolutely nothing. I think he was kinda pissy because nobody else voted against me.

im really annoyed when people cant play the game for what it is, A GAME. Its ment to intertain. its not a way for you to bash someone for whatever reason (ie race, religon, etc) also including their ability; you were all newbs once too, they will always be there, get used to it.

The most annoying gamer to me is the kind that whines the entire game about everyone else's tactics, then tries to use said tactics, fails and whines some more. I've come across far too many lately.

Funnily enough these are the kids that are probably far too young to be playing in the first place and misuse swears and slurs to be cool. That drives me nuts, but at the same time I like to mess with them to see how irrationally angry I can make them (it's really not very difficult)... Hmm, what type of gamer does that make me?

Absolutely! In fact, people who are like that for non-game stuff are especially annoying.

And, like above, I have witnessed people beng voted out of Left 4 Dead for, in their words, "ruining America!". Made slightly more funny in that the person in question doesn't live in America.

Darn it i was going to say that! Someone i know in high school is exactly like that, but he also plays runescape and he always talks about politics. (Shudder)

Other than that type, I would have to say people who blame everyone for cheating/abusing glitches. One kid started blaming computer players for no-clipping in counter strike.
