The Good, the Bad, the Ugly.

Jaws

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Lawrence of Arabia

These four tie for me. I can literally watch them over and over; they never get boring.

Pulp Fiction.
I double dare you not to like it, mother fucker.
Indeed, I don't have an absolute FAVORITE, but pulp fiction is definitely up there. I think it may be Divine Intervention.

I'm a complete and utter whore for The Wizard of Oz. I mean, come on; it's Judy Garland! Plus, there's so much humour in there that I didn't pick up as a kid. It's hard to believe that it's 70 years old considering it looks better than movies made in my almost-19-year lifetime.

...And, because my mind is completely incoherent, the only other movie that even comes close to that level of awesomeness in my opinion is Alien.

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen.

Giant robots, mind-blowingly awesome fight scenes, explosions, Transformers, explosions, Megan Fox, explosions.

It's just perfect.

Clearly it is Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

Ehm, seriously, I am extremely partial to animated films (2D and 3D. And movies with good special effects). I'm an illustrator with lots of artsy friends so we're pretty into them... if only to critique it afterwards. Art nerd alert... D:

But! For live action I'd probably say Fifth Element. Why? Ruby Rhod. The end.

it HAS to be Stanley Kubrick's 1964 film Dr. Strangelove.
Not a good one to start the topic - Dr Strangelove is so awesome that the discussion might as well be over!

Although if we're talking literally about "awe" then Kubrick's very own 2001: A Space Odyssey has yet to be matched in 40-odd years.

Damn, there are so many films I need to see.

On topic, Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption are pretty awesome.

Dark Knight, anyone?

Casablanca. That is a superb piece of acting. On the other end of the scale, I found the original Diehard to be quite good too.

Aliens Versus Jurrassic Park 4: Wrath of Khan, in SIN CITY.
oh yeah... awesome.

Okay seriously I'm gonna go with Sin City just because I have never seen a more stylish movie although Watchmen does come close.
