Q&A panels seem to have better questions when the speakers aren't people that everyone there respects totally or knows.

For example, while I like all the people who do VA for Mlp, I can't get through their panel videos most of the time, because people come up and just keep asking them to repeat lines from (insert obscure internet video here) or even worse, (insert crappy fanfiction here).

However, when I watch a cartoonist like HotDiggedyDemon do panels, and he just makes fun of the audience and makes it feel like a big joke, then it's usually a lot more entertaining.

#3. This is only #3 because I know this guy has Asperger's Sydrome and he's just doing his absolutely best to present on a topic he loves. But it doesn't stop it from being awfully awkward.

I think a lot of people saw the thumbnails and titles and ran away in terror.

On the video, why can't these guys just drive to Pizza Hut, a restaurant, or some bar and just talk about the show and other random crap to their own selves like everyone else does? For fucks sake, THEY COULD JUST ORDER THE PIZZA AND KEEP WATCHING THE SHOW AT HOME, sparing anyone unwillingly caught in the crossfire to go through their day without being harassed by a bunch of guys who think that liking a cartoon puts them on some higher level than anyone else just selling pizza to make a living.

What sucks is that these attention deprived people are the loudest part of the fandom, so of course everyone else looks stupid by proxy.

My school has an Anime/Manga/Otaku club. I've contemplated going, as I started reading a lot of manga this year, but from all the people I know who are in there, I know it will just be "OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN (insert obsucure japanese animation here)!" over and over.

Sad, it would be really nice to actually talk about the plot of Death Note with somebody, but with high school types, it just devolves into who can out-hipster each other.

EDIT: Also, whoever thought that the lighting was good in 1:28 of that video should never be allowed to touch a camera again.
