Arcania came out? Eh, I was going to skip it anyway. I was incredibly surprised by Risen though, which is exactly what I was looking for in Gothic 3.

Yeah, we got it close to release, so it was well stocked. If you're not in Germany, it's pretty tough to find now...

Aw man that sucks. I wanted to get it for my dad since he loves Gothic as well. I seen the 360 version, but apparently it's really bad.

Red Dead Redemption. Great game, up until the ending that didn't make sense, provided no closure, and essentially destroyed everything you had worked for up to that point.

...seriously. Are you kidding me Nintendo?
That game had the worst ending to any game ever. To add insult to injury, it was after a fairly kickass second third, which followed an abysmal first third. Overall, I'm glad I didn't actually buy it. Wouldn't dare support Nintendo with my money.

Fable, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Morrowind, BioShock, Deus Ex, GTA SA, Thief 3 and far too many more. For so much disappointment I have learned to not to be hyped ever...

There are two games from the same developers that had surpassed all my expectations:
Pathologic and the Void. These two are my top 2 games of all times. Ever.
Anyways, other games that I like are Silent Hill 2, System Shock 2, Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, GTA VC, Beyond Good and Evil, MGS 1&2 (haven't played 3 or 4), Grim Fandango, Half Life series, Sam and Max, Splinter Cell, Thief series, Far Cry, and some more I cannot remember.
