Yeah, i'm a big fan of Muse. Also, anything Snow Patrol ever is emotional.
Auron's Theme is brilliant too but it's not that emotional, just BADASS, and like another suggested The Hymn Of The Fayth.

Lilium (you know, the theme for Elfen Lied).

It's just so... *sniff*... beautiful...
Damn you, you made me well up from that fucking beautiful song.
I remember watching the whole series with my gf, we were like crying through half the damn show.

Mine personally has to be Redemption Song by Bob Marley and the Wailers, especially if you consider what he was inspired by.

The most emotional song for me would be " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XP8G3sFk08I ".

Very emotional.
Excellent choice :)

Is it interesting, do we think, that virtually everyone has interpreted "emotional" as "sad"? I would suggest, for example, that 'When Darkness Falls' by Killswitch Engage, 'From This Day' by Machine Head, and 'A New Level' by Pantera are wonderfully emotional songs, it's simply that the emotions they convey are primarily positive - determination, camaraderie, euphoria - and thus more easily mistaken for metal aggression and bombast.

But it terms of "emotional" as we're understanding the term...

'Shadow Blues' by Laura Veirs
'Roads' by Portishead
'Keep On Runnin' by Cat Power

this, hands down
Didn't like that version but this song just makes me just zone out and I get lost in the music.

*sniff* This will forever be my most emotional song. I've never cried but I remember listening to it when I was much younger, very emotional.

As for my own submission, I think Sam Cooke takes it:
If you can enjoy the song and listen to the lyrics... I don't really need to explain why its so emotional.

EDIT- Damn I forgot Johnny Cash!!
The lyrics + the fact that it was the last song he recorded before his death after a long life of mistakes and redemption + the music video = a very chilling and emotional song.

But, everything I would have said has already been mentioned.
I'll just go with the cliched choice: <youtube=6KlhhvfAhM4>

When I'm Gone by Eminem is a pretty emotional song. Pretty chills-inducing, if you ask me.

Alright, I'll admit I only heard it through Final Fantasy XIII, but that doesn't change the fact that every time I hear it, it hits me right there.
No, not down there.

Tell Me What to Swallow - Crystal Castles

Lyrics:

Through the wall he threw me
I know he'd never hurt me
Daddy watch me sleeping
I've been praying for you silently

Daddy's love makes me whole
Without him I'm insecure
The only girl he'd ever
Love is the one who smells so pure

This song tells you everything about why Alice ran away from home at the age of 14.
