Is it interesting, do we think, that virtually everyone has interpreted "emotional" as "sad"? I would suggest, for example, that 'When Darkness Falls' by Killswitch Engage, 'From This Day' by Machine Head, and 'A New Level' by Pantera are wonderfully emotional songs, it's simply that the emotions they convey are primarily positive - determination, camaraderie, euphoria - and thus more easily mistaken for metal aggression and bombast.

But it terms of "emotional" as we're understanding the term...

*sniff* This will forever be my most emotional song. I've never cried but I remember listening to it when I was much younger, very emotional.
