I couldn't tell, I'm very whimsical with music and it all depends on the mood.

The same songs won't work on me the same way every time.

The Scientist - Coldplay. Its beautiful.
Damn, I love Coldplay.
Thank goodness someone mentioned the Titanic theme (being one of the few who still sticks up for the film)
Oh and Elysium from the Gladiator OST.

Actually, I could have put a lot of 3 Doors Down songs here, but I'll stick with this one for now.

The song 'hurt' by either Johnny Cash or NIN, don't really know which I like best.

Tupac - Ghetto Gospel.

Easily one of the most emotional and inspiring songs ever created.

RIP 2PAC. X

On the sad-emotional end, tie between We're No Here by Mogwai [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yROEbbe9yxM] and the live version of Mushi by Dir En Grey. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXEhRKBykAg]

On the happy-emotional side, Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EyI4p0yjDQ] Especially with the video.

I think... "videotape" by Radiohead...

Or pretty much anything from the album "Sleep" by Kimberly Freeman. "Out to Play" being the most, possibly.

Blue on the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. It's the song at the end of the last episode when Spike...you know...

To Zanarkan or Terra's Theme, when thinking from a game, Distant Worlds from the black mages if not.

I just really love instrumental ballads, especially with piano.

Yay for Bliss-Metal.
Fucking what? "Bliss-Metal"? Is that the term metalheads use when they're too embarassed to admit they listen to Shoegaze bands?
No, that was the term Allmusic used for it in their review of that album, which I assumed to be correct. I have since found out (in the intervening 8 months since I posted that comment) that it's actually called Shoegaze metal or ambient metal.
Continuing this line of thought, I present to you:
