When Aeris died. Nothing has ever made me hate a villain so much! GRR Sephiroth...just GRR.

Its an old game, and I'm sure even people that didn't play it already know this spoiler, but I didn't wanna ruin it for anyone that didn't play it.
USE A PHOENIX DOWN!

good story, but the game goes rediculous during the cinematics... by that stage in the game you most likely have 99 Phoenix Downs, just cause it's a cinematic doesn't mean they couldn't incorperate it or make a varible (if you have a phoenix down, you'll use it.) all the cinematics had a 100 varibles so i know it's possible.

Probably the end of Robotech: Battlecry.

Wolf 010 gets warped into deep space by the leader of the enemy alien race. He defeats him in a spectacular dogfight, and then recalls what the enemy leader said: "You're too far from your home planet! You'll never make it home." Jack knows he doesn't have enough fuel nor oxygen to make it back to earth. He meditates for a bit, thinking of all his comrades he left on Earth. Drawing his last breath, he traces the Veritech emblem on the condensation inside his cockpit and mumbles, "The future... is so... bright..." The screen fades to black, and then to brilliant white, and then black again.

And then I threw in the controller and called it a day right there.

Without a doubt for me, the most emotional game ever made is an RTS. Homeworld. Every part of it. Especially in this mission however, the feeling of loss and grief is so intense that I found it hard to breathe.

When everyone is all ecstatic that you successfully launched the rocket, and suddenly those bastard Advisers come in and kill Eli.
The 'Aftermath' level got to me (as well as 'Crew Expendable' and 'Game Over'), but I think the whole of Modern Warfare 2 got to me more. From 'No Russian' all the way to the credits, the game really toyed w/ my emotions. The biggest emotional impact has to be the end of 'Loose Ends', when that asshole Shepherd betrays Roach & Ghost, then sets them on fire while Roach is still alive. (was so satisfying to get him at the end.)

And the good ending for BioShock. (it nearly made me cry.)

Defintely the nuke in the first Modern warfare.

The not dark ending in KOTOR
That nuke. Emotional, I'm not sure, but it was damn well impressive. When I heard that officer guy use the words 'nuclear device' I was like 'it'll probably blow up, but I'll be out of here by then,' and then the sudden realisation that came with that bright flash of light.

Any of them.

Every emotion.
MGS3 is my favorite; the ending when Snake salutes the Boss's grave. So sad, yet so proud.
I totaly agree on you with all that. One of my favorites in the series is Debrefing Naked Son.
When Big Boss and Snake have there moment, Boss explaining everything about The Patriots, then when he's dieing from the new FoxDie, says the speach about how the world only needs one snake....no the world...would be better off...without snakes... Just beautiful, speacily with Father and Son playing.
