My first time playing Halo 2, LAN with friends, my very first kill, driving a Warthog backwards into a wall..... squishing my own team's flag carrier.

Yesterday, I was "playing" a custom campaign (Death Aboard) for L4D, joined in the last section. Turns out the other two guys weren't actually playing, they were just dicking around. So I began dicking around with them. We must've spent at least an hour or so shooting the crap out of each other and jumping off of cliffs, it was amazingly fun. The best part, however, was the spawn point. We'd all but destroyed the door to the spawn room, so every time someone looked remotely in its direction you'd respawn..... at which point the first thing we usually did was kill the two AIs (shotgun blast = incap, then keep shooting until dead). After a while, there were dozens, DOZENS, of Uzis lying in and near the spawn room, and a fair amount of shotguns as well. Seriously, the ground was just LITTERED with Uzis. Extremely fail, yet extremely awesome as well.

For me, it was trying to get my boyfriend to play halo 3 and I just watched him aim up at the sky and run in circles. It was pretty sad. . .

The ending of Assassin's Creed. The plot up until that point was OK, but the way they wrapped things up was like a slap in the face. Hopefully the upcoming sequel will tie up all those loose ends.

Well, with Metroid Fusion... I got stuck at the goddamned spider boss for I-don't-know-how-long, it was years. I just couldn't beat the frigging thing. Then, I finally beat it and promptly got stuck on ANOTHER boss.

I will beat that game, though. Eventually.

I can think of a pretty big fail moment from earlier today.

I was playing a Worms 2: Armeggedon online ranked match, and it was the enemys turn, 2 of my worms (Green & Red if i remember, their names were inspired by the Castle Crashers knights) were right next to each other at the bottom of the map, since i was playing a new tall-ways level.

The enemy's worm ninja ropes onto the ceiling, and equips dynamite, he begins to lower him self down and swing a little, he starts to lower in the direction of my worms. "SHIT!" I thought, "This is the end!"

He ends up triggering a mine, he tries to swing out of the way but that just increases the momentum of the blast. He zooms into a wall, bounces off and lands on another mine, next to a nitro barrel. He explodes far into the air, and eventually smashes into solid ground full force... right next to another mine.

He is blasted off the top of the map and lands near my guys, on the bottom level. And he is DEAD. I can't imagine the intensity of the resulting facepalm.
I love the worms games, there was a reviewer who recently said one of the games as bad, because it didn't add anything new. Some games don't need a lot new to be good.

That sounds a lot like one of my plans that go terribly backwards in that game,

one time during halo 3 xbox live, it was team swat on blackout. 40-20 something we were winning. i was second or third place and i went up to ambush the other other team, i threw a grenade which killed no1, shot my sniper, wich ricochetted off the wall and killed my teammate, and i thre another grenade which missed but killed my other two teammates, then a thew a third grenade which missed totally and landed on the other side of the map and killed 2 of my spawning teammates. then i shot my br a few times and somehow i killed myself. we lost the match.

My friend made one of the biggest fail moments EVER.

On his first playthrough of Fallout 3, it took him (Read this carefully)

4 HOURS to find Megaton.

No, really. He spent 4 Hours before he ever found it.

This is embarrassing but air strikes alwase kill me. Alwase.

COD4, I was inside a building. I watch on the killcam as the bomb falls, glances off the lip of a rooftop, sails into the window at just the right angle to fly down the stairs and land a my feet.

God i have so many fail moments in my gaming history but the worst...*holds back tears* was when i first played Zelda. You know on the Nintendo and it couldnt save. I wasnt very old at the time and i was at my grandmas. I had gotten pretty farish. On the last level. Anyways the ____ power cord came out somehow and you know seeing as how you cant save on the old game...well....you can guess the rest.
Actually the very first Zelda was the first game to allow you to save your game before.
If you died one of the options was "Save & Quit"

So yeah, you actually just made it an even more massive fail.

Father: How do I jump?
Me: You are jumping...
Father: Im not going anywhere.
Me: Dad we are inside.....
[we go outside]
Father: I still cant jump!
Me: Yes.......you can
Father: NO I CAN'T!
Me: Yes, you can. Your doing it right now...

We were playing L4D and he consequently jumped off the hospital roof.
(on the way down) Father: O sure, now he jumps.....

I was on battle.net one time and this epic fail moment happened...
A terran built 3 barracks. Made some marines
I built 4 gateways. Made alot of zeolots
Zerg builds 5 spawning pools and asks" Where are my units?"
