The most heartbreaking crash/glitch you've ever expierenced.

I was 10 years old.. playing Super Mario for the SNES. I was THIS CLOSE (final battle with Bowser close) to beating the game. I turned on my console that morning, and POOF! All my saved data was gone. Just gone. It turns out the Mario cartridge is defective, and can't hold saved games anymore. I was in tears then, and I'm still ticked now!

I'll never be able to get the full 1000 in CoD 4 because I had the 'A bad year' cheat on (it just makes enemies explode into tires when killed) when I got the final piece of intel. so I'll be forever at 980 because I had a just-for-kicks-and-giggles style cheat on when I got that last piece of intel :*(
