Easiest boss battles were non-vehicle bosses in Blaster Master on the NES.

Allow me to explain:

In Blaster Master, you got bombs when you were outside of your vehicle that you could throw at enemies. If you threw a bomb at a boss and paused as it exploded, the the damage would continue to add up on the guy until you unpaused and the explosive cloud disappeared.

Made things dead easy, that.
Sounds like the lockpick/multitool glitch from Deus Ex. If you went to your inventory as you started to pick or hack a door and waited a while, the task would just keep going. You could go through the entire game with a single multitool and lockpick and bypass 90% of security.

But how this relates to the final boss? One of the endings has you searching around for various keys and things to open a door near the boss's room so you can leave and do something else. But if you don't feel like running around everywhere with the constantly respawning enemies, then just use the glitch on that door and you'll end the game 5 minutes later.

Gryorg in LoZ: MM could be defeated by handing the controller to a hardier friend and then weeping softly in the corner until he was dead.

fable 2 last "boss"
/thread

Edit: solutions
A: 1 shot him
B: do nothing and have your team mate 1 shot him after a few seconds
Yeah, Fable II had the most underwhelming last boss fight in all of video games. The game hyped it throughout the story and ended up being meh.

In LoZ Majoras mask the boss in snow head temple (cant remember the name) you can kill it easily if you just stand in the doorway shooting arrows at it when it goes by

Planescape: Torment has one of the easiest last bosses of all time. Given you are smart enough, you can convince the last boss to rejoin you. I don't think I've ever actually FOUGHT this boss, since you gain like ten levels by doing this.

In Ninja Gaiden 2, my friend was fighting this sea serpent boss, and he kept jumping in the water and trying to kill it, yet he kept failing. I just told him to stand on the place you start at and shoot it with charged arrows. He told me it wouldn't work, but he managed to kill it without taking any damage. My friend was SOOOO pissed!

Mass Effect, convincing him to shoot himself for you.
Your post count is the exact caliber of an AR-15.
And you still had to kill him again after that.
Never mind the fact that you also had to pour a bunch of skill points into your choice of negotiation.

This is kinda different but on KOTOR were you fight Darth Revan in the Leviathan, and I was tearing him up with Stasis Field and Power Attack, when suddenly Bastila runs in and says "I'll distract him! Go!" and I'm like like "I don't need saving!" But I can't stop her.

The final boss of Operation C. Stand there and shoot until he's dead. You don't even have to move a inch.

Has someone mentioned Mysterio yet? I'm not sure if he qualifies, but he doesn't attack and dies in one shot.

Killing floor's "boss". I use the term loosely.
It seems to tell you that the best strategy would be to flank him, distract him with other team-mates, so the large damage dealers can weaken him down, and he is left unable to make up his mind.

The actual best soloution is to chainsaw the hell out of him, even with one person.

TACTICS!

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say Condemned 2. No really, what Yahtzee said in his review, was nail on the head stuff. I wish I'd watched the review before buying it ¬_¬

To defeat Strelok, you're supposed to chase him through several warp anomalies and then shoot him with the ridiculous assault rifle that was obviously stolen from Halo. Well you don't even have to do that, since Strelok dies on his own. I'm still not sure what glitch in the game causes him to die. It might not be a glitch, it could just be that the ridiculously overpowered Monolith soldiers shoot him for you. But either way, you don't even have to fight him. Just sit behind a pillar and wait for him to die. Bang. You won the game! Now you get to see one of the worst endings in video games history.

The Chopper boss battle beforehand is also easy if you just hide behind a pillar, but it's still a ***** because of it's massive pool of health. I wasted all of the ammo for my good weapons trying to kill it and was eventually reduced to shooting it with a pistol. I managed to take down a chopper with a pistol. Whoever thought that game needed boos battles deserves a smack to the face.
