1. Death by bamboo. Tying someone down and having bamboo grow through them. Slow, painful, might take ages for the bamboo to grow through a vital organ.

Ah yes, Balthasar Gerard, who murdered Willem van Oranje. (William the Silent?) Well, just imagine it this way - when someone assasinates Obama, don't you think a lot of Americans will be crying for blood?

And yes, the Dutch have cruel history. Our Golden Age, for example, is remembered for huge ships, lots of trade, colonies, and an overall improvement in wealth for everyone in the country.
