Uhm either a tooth infection I had to stick up with over 3 weeks of intense stabbing pain in my mouth, never ending, even after taking pain killers. Uhm or a quad bike accident which ripped my knee and arm up, didn't go to hospital either, since I'm badass! And I think my other pain was at 6 where I ripped open the back of my head...Oh and at 14(?) I got kicked in the balls 10ish times...I tear up thinking about it...

the worst pain in my life would have to be when i was 15 my mother was driving and suddenly we were T-boned and flung off the highway into the river/stream off the side of the road I was awake the entire time when the car stopped moving I checked the damage to my body and my right arm and leg were broken in many different places and there were pieces of glass stuck everywhere in my body and i had fractured my skull the pain was so horrible that i couldnt even move all i could do was lay there and wait for my mother to wake up and call 911 thankfully she did and all i did was spend two and a half months in the hospital.

I was just diagnosed with stage 4 non-hodgekins lymphoma cancer with a tumor sitting on top of my heart, but days after my initial hospital visit, a tumor no one knew about on and in my intestine ruptured and spent 4 hours with the equivalent pain of a gunshot wound to the belly from what the nurses told me. I was breaking out in a cold sweat from forcing myself to stay awake since I was convinced I would die if I let myself pass out.

Had emergency surgery and a two week recovery where I was kept from eating for one of those weeks. By the end I was so hungry, that while I was watching No Reservations on TV where they were using brain in a sauce with stir fry somewhere, I thought it looked like the most awesome thing in the world and HAD to have it.
Try not to die. o_O
Haha, thanks, I'm out of the woods now though, doing well.

Giving birth.

I win.
/thread
Hate to be that guy (which there have been a few in response to this but), but I don't think you win this thread or even ended it. a)not a game b)wasn't looking for the one most painful experience (it's not Highlander)

Also, how's your vagina/taint feeling these day? Pretty normal huh? I injured my ankle over six months ago and I could barely walk yesterday due to pain. I nearly got my foot amputated from royally fucking up my leg/ankle. The pain was beyond excruciating and that awful super sharp pain lasted nearly two months. The last four-five have consisted of a duller pain sprinkled in with moments/days of sharp pain. I personally would have taken the option of birthing triplets any day.

I'm not serious about the I win thing :) I just threw it in there as most of this site is Male and it's not something they could experience themselves and say "it doesn't hurt"

I would give birth all over again if I had to, even with the pain the comes with it.
Not to mention I'd rather do it over half the stories I've read on this thread! *eyes water*
I just reread my post and it came off as aggressive rather than having a humorous nature. I apologize if you viewed it as such.

Obviously birthing hurts, and whoever doesn't think so is ignorant. The part that gets me is the whole "taint" thing.

OP: it was a long time ago when I was small, when i cut of my right index finger, the doctors were so good that I have no scarring or any indication it ever happened.

Plus i was bored and i thought, why not
plus omfg it feels so good now when im with my gf (if you catch my drift)

Next time, before jumping on me with your "don't make me laugh" remark, I suggest you read this whole thread and realise I ment it with banter and that it's nothing compared to what some people have been through.

Get over yourself.
No, I read your comments and in one of your comments you admit that your entire "point" was that it was a female thing and you assumed that guys just had no come-back to that.

I have two female friends who are mothers and have had kidney stones and they agree with me that they'd rather go through child birth again than pass one.

You've subsequently posted a whole mess of other posts recanting, but frankly it just smacks of lame post-hoc justifications.

So get over yourself and fess up that you were wrong to belittle other people's intense agony.

Kidney stones. At first I thought it was just unusually severe menstrual cramping (which I get pretty badly) but it continued to get worse. That's the only time in my life I think I threw up from pain.

I've been spared from some of the more extreme examples in this thread, but the worst pain I've ever suffered is definitely the inner ear infection I had as a kid. The doctors were thinking of puncturing my eardrum, but it was so inflamed that it simply said "Screw you guys!" and did it on its own. If they hadn't put me on IV-painkillers, I would probably have gone insane.

o_O I never assumed a Male would have no come-back. Where on earth did you get that from? All I said was Males will never know that pain feeling, you know... a fact as Men cannot give birth?

I never belittled anyone at all, I think you need to have a look at yourself on that one, you're the one coming across like its easy peasy, when it isn't. When you've done it yourself, come back and tell me I'm wrong.

Oh, and apologies for not having felt any other horrific pain seeing as I'm lucky enough not to of had Kindy stones or a broken arm etc.

I've had broken limbs(and fingers), been electrocuted, had a finger crushed in the hinge part of firedoor, had my big toe crushed sideways by an irongate (toe nail has gone red) fallen down stairs (sliding down a banister went really wrong), swollen tonsils (blocked throat + no air = immediate surgery), ear infections (all the fucking time) and all sorts of smaller cuts, stabs, falls etc.

You may think I am really accident prone.... well. Yeah I guess (this list is a lot longer then I thought it would be.)

But by far the worst are the migraines (thanks dad), only exacerbated by the CFS.

Was the headache by chance a cluster headache AKA suicide headache?
I haven't really heard about those before, but from what I'm reading on the Wikipedia article I don't think so. The really sudden and intense headache only occurred once, and it looks like cluster headaches happen multiple times (they sound even worse than what I felt tbh, supposedly the worst pain that can be felt). Also it felt more like an intense pressure throughout my head, rather than at specific points.
I've had other chronic headaches before and since then, but they are either migraines or related to my CSF leak problems. My current diagnosis is "New Daily Persistent Headache Syndrome", as I had nonstop high-pressure headaches for a period of time after a second herpes breakout up my nose (and probably around my brain a bit). Strangely enough, a common antibiotic and a common anti-asthma medicine together seem to have cured me, after virtually every other type of headache medication failed miserably.

PS In case someone else here has a chronic CSF leak or knows someone who does, or if you're just curious about it and have plenty of free time, here's a forum run by leakers that was invaluable to me when most of my doctors didn't understand or refused to believe my problem:
