IMO, the British versions of most candies are better, and they seem to be a bit healthier, too (as candy goes) Sometimes, my dad picks me up a Yorkie bar at the store.UmJammerSully said:I bought some American sweets and drinks at an import stand in town today. Obviously to Americans this stuff isn't interesting but we don't get any of it here in UK.
Specifically I got a Tootsie Roll (Horrible, never again...) and Vanilla Coke (Which we had for a few years then disappeared sadly). I got a Butterfinger too which is in my cupboard now, I'll probably try that tomorrow. :3
Yorkies are brilliant, so much sugar per bar xD. 1 criticism though, I've never EVER found a yorkie that hasn't been broken in at least 1 place. They must hire somebody in the factories to pre snap them or something.smearyllama said:IMO, the British versions of most candies are better, and they seem to be a bit healthier, too (as candy goes) Sometimes, my dad picks me up a Yorkie bar at the store.UmJammerSully said:I bought some American sweets and drinks at an import stand in town today. Those are awesome.
Aw yeah, 380 calories a bar.Midgeamoo said:Yorkies are brilliant, so much sugar per bar xD. 1 criticism though, I've never EVER found a yorkie that hasn't been broken in at least 1 place. Good man! Must be one hell of a target you've got then.demoman_chaos said:Appleseeed.OptimisticPessimist said:What kind of edge do you have on that kukri? Secondary bevel or appleseed edge?
It is a pair of boxes, inside a box, which is inside another box. Cutting on the corner was equal to trying to cut 6 layers of cardboard. Itis very rigid, but the kukri isn't the highest quality.OptimisticPessimist said:Good man! Must be one hell of a target you've got then.
OP: Maybe new guitar strings? It's about the most interesting thing I can afford right now.
You should come to Holland too, we absolutely dominate at that. I once competed in the Dutch National Championship (made it 2 rounds in, got wrecked after that though)Duck Sandwich said:Most interesting thing I bought recently? That would be, by far, my membership here.

MMA training is the most awesome thing I've done in my life. Not only do I get to do awesome stuff like fighting in a safe and controlled environment where serious injury pretty much never happens (I haven't done any fighting outside of sparring and a few BJJ and light-contact MMA tournaments) plyometric jumping, jump squats, punching/kicking/elbowing/knee strikes to heavy bags/pads, but it's also made me more awesome in countless ways that carry over into life outside of the mat.
What you want is crunch bars, those are really good cheap chocolates.UmJammerSully said:I bought some American sweets and drinks at an import stand in town today. Obviously to Americans this stuff isn't interesting but we don't get any of it here in UK.

Tasty fruity hard candy, of course. Like a sexy jolly rancher.BehattedWanderer said:Infamous 2. Other than that, I bought a smoke grenade. Spent, of course, but still.
I am so intrigued. What kind of candy?mjcabooseblu said:A candy dildo. Found it on the shelf at my local grocery store.
