I bought some American sweets and drinks at an import stand in town today. Obviously to Americans this stuff isn't interesting but we don't get any of it here in UK.

Specifically I got a Tootsie Roll (Horrible, never again...) and Vanilla Coke (Which we had for a few years then disappeared sadly). I got a Butterfinger too which is in my cupboard now, I'll probably try that tomorrow. :3
IMO, the British versions of most candies are better, and they seem to be a bit healthier, too (as candy goes) Sometimes, my dad picks me up a Yorkie bar at the store.
Those are awesome.

A 60p energy drink. Tasted of pure sugar and sweeteners. Was weirdly nice, but couldn't enjoy it completely because of the way it tasted, I was completely aware of the sort of stuff I was pouring into my body.

Yorkies are brilliant, so much sugar per bar xD. 1 criticism though, I've never EVER found a yorkie that hasn't been broken in at least 1 place. They must hire somebody in the factories to pre snap them or something.

Aw yeah, 380 calories a bar.
Also, girls are actually capable of eating them.
I tested one on a friend at school, and while I was expecting a Raiders of the Lost Ark type situation, I was very disappoint.

Most interesting thing I bought recently? That would be, by far, my membership here.

MMA training is the most awesome thing I've done in my life. Not only do I get to do awesome stuff like fighting in a safe and controlled environment where serious injury pretty much never happens (I haven't done any fighting outside of sparring and a few BJJ and light-contact MMA tournaments) plyometric jumping, jump squats, punching/kicking/elbowing/knee strikes to heavy bags/pads, but it's also made me more awesome in countless ways that carry over into life outside of the mat.

What kind of edge do you have on that kukri? Secondary bevel or appleseed edge?
Appleseeed.
Good man! Must be one hell of a target you've got then.

OP: Maybe new guitar strings? It's about the most interesting thing I can afford right now.

It is a pair of boxes, inside a box, which is inside another box. Cutting on the corner was equal to trying to cut 6 layers of cardboard. Itis very rigid, but the kukri isn't the highest quality.

20 bottles of Jack Daniels, 180 bottles of Beer, 30kg of beef jerky, 50 kg of spare ribs, 45 pizzas, 100 buns and and 80 frikandellen (which I don't expect you to know, unless you've ever been in Holland. Just take my worth for it that it's eaten more than freaking McDonalds, Burgerking and KFC together over here.) All because a friend is having his bachelor party and decide it was going to be a weekend for real man. ( Only 6 people by the way :) )

You should come to Holland too, we absolutely dominate at that. I once competed in the Dutch National Championship (made it 2 rounds in, got wrecked after that though)

A hardback copy of Towers of Midnight at a half-price bookstore.
Not even used, and the thing cost me only ten dollars!
I've spent more on trying to find a brown ink that isn't shit, and this won't be used up in a month's time!

I put $5 on my Nintendo eShop account, with which I bought Super Mario Land. I beat it in less than a day.

A hat from the Amish Country and a tiny Maneki Neko. They're both spoils from my trip northward. I saw someone on TV with one of the hats, and being the hat man I am, decided to purchase one the first chance I had. As for the Maneki Neko, I've had a fascination with them after reading a little article about 'em, so I figured I would get one when I saw it.

Infamous 2. Other than that, I bought a smoke grenade. Spent, of course, but still.

A candy dildo. Found it on the shelf at my local grocery store.
I am so intrigued. What kind of candy?
Tasty fruity hard candy, of course. Like a sexy jolly rancher.

The most interesting? cause the last thing I bought was gas for my car.

the Most interesting thing I've bought (recently), was this novelty gum that said if you chewed it, it would make you a fanstastic artist, like that of Da vinci, or Goya, or Michelangelo.

I immediately proceeded to chew a piece, drew a slef portrait and came out with what looked like a smily face that looked like it got hit with a shovel about ten too many times.

I've just been getting into science fiction and soviet satire, and this is the first fiction book I've purchased in about 5-6 months. (I buy books on an almost weekly basis.)
