The World Ends With You had an AMAZING soundtrack. It's the only game soundtrack I've ever bought.

The most memorable would have to be the soundtrack for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Medal Of Honor: Airborne.

Officially, it's the original Super Mario Brothers theme songs. Everyone knows 'em. However, my favourite music is still the themes from Super Metroid and Ocarina of Time. Those classic riffs will stick with us forever.

I'm never very good at pointing out awesome soundtracks for games because there always seems to be a lot of filler music - but I think on average, the Hitman series (particularly 2 and Blood Money) has a great soundtrack.

The most memorable, and to me, the best soundtrack in a game is Final Fantasy X's soundtrack. It's just incredible to listen to.

Here's a sample:

Oh fucking this.

Final Fantasy X's soundtrack is one of my most memorable. The Mass Effect and Halo games also have very memorable soundtracks.

Now, I'm not trying to voice my opinion down on anyone, but for some reason, I found nothing memorable with any of Mass Effect's music..I found it incredibly bland, compared to all of Bioware's past music, done by Jeremy Soule, who didn't do the music for this game, but I like him alot.

The "OH SHIT I'M ABOUT TO DROWN" music from pretty much any Sonic game that has a water level.

Oblivions music was just so badass....reminds me of pirates of the carribean song.

NOONE HAS SAID THIS, BUT STILL ALIVE, I AM SHOCKED.

And you have to burn the rope.

Alan Wake's soundtrack is good, mostly because it's a soundtrack in all technicality and not a score. I mean, come on.

Also, some of the most eclectic choices I've heard in general, including Poe's "Haunted," The Black Angel's "Young Men Dead," Dead Combo's "Electrica Cadente" and Poets of the Fall's "War."

I would say that most FF and KH games have without a doubt the best OST, but you can always play a FF game and think 'Oh the soundtrack is obviously gonna be good cause these games are all made in the same genre' What a good OST would be is something that goes beyond standard music accompanying a game as you play through its levels, its gotta be something that sticks in your mind and stays there. This for me.....(as geeky as it sounds) is what I heard during the beginning of the new Dragon Age 2 trailer, with Hawke doing his abrakadabra and blood flying everywhere as per usual with a Dragon Age game :p

I apologise to all you sceptics out there that are just gonna say 'Hey this isn't a link to the music, it's a trailer for Dragon Age 2 you spamming fuzzbag' you don't have to watch it just listen to the beginning
