Well one's that have already been mentioned, obviously portal's ending ditty. L4D2 has some good 'shooting zombies to rock' stuff in the concert finale. Also ME, especially 2 had some really powerful bits of music, especially some of the mournful pieces. Also the radio on Fallout 3 had some songs which just fitted perfectly badly with the whole setting of the game if that makes sense.

Ones that haven't been mentioned.

Well, Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds, for obvious reasons (a computer game based on an album in many ways, that's how good the album was!). That may not really count though...

Also, KOTOR, the music that plays when you've got the launcher for the second game up before you actually load the game, that's some of the best music EVER, regardless of source in my opinion. (it's the second one and about 30 seconds long, have a quick listen)

Sounds lame but the most memorial soundtrack I have for a game is in Kingdom Hearts...
It's the song from when you're running around the beach on Destiny Islands.

It's such a pointless song, and it's not even exciting or anything, it's just fun. :]
Not to mention you have to listen to it for about an hour straight...
OH NOES, YOU GOT THAT STUCK IN MY HEAD AGAIN!

i went to sleep for a week straight with this annoying ass song stuck in my head...

its not bad but MAN IT GETS OLD
HAHA! Man! Don't I know it! It took me the entire game to get it out of my head! And then even when I finished the game I was like, "Hey...what was the song for destiny island---OH SHIII-!! *insert profanity* "

But it's cool for reminiscing. :]

Final Fantasy IX WITH EASE. Check on youtube for "You're not Alone" and listen to it fully, then tell me that it's not an incredible piece of music.

So many songs from IX are just awesome, i'd be proud to be the biggest FFIX fanboy of all time tbh

I'd probably go with the Contra 1 main theme, its the one thing i remember from my childhood that doesn't involve something bad happening.

Hands down the Action Doom 2 soundtrack is some of the best original music I have ever heard.

One winged angel from final fantasy 7 and the lake of Rage music from pokemon are the only ones that get consistently stuck in my head.

Oddly enough, Halo 3 ODST, and a little unknown iphone game called Square-Ball.
ODST just had such a diverse and interesting range of music, from the sad piano chords to the triumphant but desperate, slightly familiar sounds of a typical Halo song during the game's finale, it really mixed well with the gameplay. The music was easily the best part of the game.
As for Square-Ball, I'd be surprised if any of you have heard of it, but if you have an iphone or ipod touch, you must pick it up.
It's only a dollar, and the game's worth it just for the awesome 8-bit techno tracks that make up the soundtrack (the game's also a lot of fun too.)

I will forever remember this moment: The first colossus fight, the ominous drums as the colossus turns and his eyes glow red. I had to just stand there, not even attacking and just take in the moment.

Well, music from the Halo games always gets me rev'd up for the next battle. But when it comes to most memorable, it would have to be music from Medal of Honor: Frontline. The Tracks are just beautiful, and really take your breath away. My personal favorite would be the track from the mission "Arnhem Knights". It really sets the mood and atmosphere of the mission (solemn, sad, countless other feelings. The mission was primarily about the British failed attempt at liberating Arnhem during WW2.
