I can't wait to clear DMD mode..hehe.
You have to wait until he's done his last sword attack (the one that he powers up) then quickly break his shield before he regains it. Then pummel his wrinkly old ass with the devil bringer. I still think that fighting Dante was the hardest part of that game though.

I may be a little ***** but I found the holding action of One Shot, One Kill in COD 4 so immensely frustrating that I went down from Hardened to Normal JUST to pass that section. There was literally NO cover that couldn't be rushed or shot at from at least two other directions.

The most unfair thing is trying to get the acheivement "get some grub" in HL2: Ep2, its freggin impossible.
Wuss. Try the "Little Rocket Man" achievement. Get that and you are one patient mf.

And one of the most unfair moments for me was the certain someone's death in HL2:Episode 2. You know who I mean.

And just because fewer people attempted the Get Some Grub achievement that doesn't make it any more unfair. I'm telling you. Carting that little bastard throughout the ENTIRE game JUST to put him in the damn rocket requires patience. Can he be destroyed by the Hunter's flechettes? I hope not.
Well apparently this game only lasts about 3 hours long or something? If that's the case, I can see why they made this game rock hard to shadow the fact.
Methinks you have slightly misunderstood.
The rocket man achivement is optional.

Or you can grab him JUST as he attacks you, and you will do the entire "megapunch of freaking doom to the head" thing. It takes some training, but it's by far the best way to kill that wrinkly old fart.

Aye, I figured that out, but it took a few deaths. Playing through on Dante Must Die now, good times. :)

SPOILER

The end of HL2: Episode 2 when you are forced to watch the advisor sticking its tounge into Eli's brain when all you want to do is to smash it so bad with the crowbar. That scene was so damn sad, I actually cried.

The last segment of HL:2 Ep 2 made me almost chew my controller with frustration. Barely getting to the last wave with a fragment of health and virtually no ammo, three goddamn Striders and a mob of hunters show up, and I can't even find my freaking car. I honestly wanted to cry at that point.

The most unfair moment I've ever experienced was any time I've ever played any Halo game with my friends. People are so damn good, I wouldn't even consider paying actual money for that crap.

Compamny of heroes. That mission where you have to defend Carentan, Anyone who has played it will know what I mean.
Yeah...I remeber ordering all the units into the church and praying I'll make it.Especially the first time when I didn't hear about incoming artillery.I lost %80 of my units and finished it off by spamming C4 with my Rangers. The word "clusterfuck" is a very accurate description.

PS:Unless you get some defences ready. Then again who saw that coming on first playthrough.

Playing Crysis when my cloak deactivated in front of a tank but I instead died because one guy I forgot to kill 200 yards away shot me with a pistol. Someone at crytek has to remove the bionic super-vison from their AI already. It kind of got lame.

CoD4 playing the "one shot, one kill" mission on veteran not only do you have to deal with twenty or so enemies as soon as you exit the sniping building as soon as you scrape by to the point where a chopper comes to pick you up and you end up fighting somewhere between 150-500 enemies that only need a fourth of a second to kill you the chopper takes somewhere between 7-14 minutes to even get there but as soon as it lands to pick you up you only have 30 seconds to get on it while carrying your commanding officer and unable to shoot, you still have a small army shooting at you on your way over. the entire mission is unfair.(I gave up on finishing veteran because of that mission's last part with the chopper.

I'm really glad I finished this game about 10 minutes before that was posted (I need to start bypassing spoilers!)

Let's see... when I learned Krogans aren't affected by basic Singularity. I'm running into three Salarian criminals and a Krogran and I do what any good vanguard does. Singularity so as to set up for a carnage. The Salarians start spinning in air.... but the Krogan? He punches me dead. Freaking turtle people.

Also, when I first learned that criminals can pick weapons back up in SWAT 4 mixed in with the somewhat bad physics on stairs. The guy drops the big angry revolver but it falls into the stairs. I decide to ignore him while I clear out the adjacent room. I can come back. I then get a nice bullet in the back of the head.

Okay, the most unfair, was Call of Duty 4 veteran. the level where you are stopping the warheads from hitting the USA, i got into the facility, and it announced i had 9 min

"Okay, im fine with that"

I get HELLA close to the end.... and die
i get sent ALL the way back. too little save points in CoD4 Veteran, and i played through only good enough for Regular by the games standards

EDIT - And for the post above me, Vet, Mcmillan, what i did -
Put him down, and as you are facing where the enemies come from, run to the right, and lay behind the bumper car arena. Once the time is up, get mcmillan without dying, and you are good, you take no damage with him on your shoulder
Beat the game, proved them the hell wrong lol =P

God of War 2 titan mode, the room before the last sister of fate. Spent about 4 hours before I developed a good method of getting through it taking minimal damage.

For some reason I always hated Tick Tock Clock from Mario 64...you fall once and go down like 50 stories. I can do it now but back then...Jesus.
