It dawned on me recently that I had watched all 3 seasons of Arrested Development within a reasonably short amount of time (somewhere at about a month). And yet, I could easily watch it all again because I enjoy it that much and I pick up new things each time I watch it.

I've also experienced this with Community as well, however not to the sort of scale.

So, Escapists, what do you consider to be the show you could most watch over again and again?
Or am I in the minority?

And now time for the chicken dance.

I can just watch that over and over again, it's so damn perfect.

But it also comes with a cost...

Chuck. I've seen the entire series twice, and I'm contemplating watching it again. I just love the characters so much. I've never gotten that attached to characters in any medium ever.

I can stand to watch American Dad quite a bit, moreso than Family Guy anyways.

Adventure Time/Firefly as well.

Over the years I've probably seen Buffy and Angel several times over.

Same with Roseanne and Cybil.

I've probably seen over a solid month of the Simpsons over my lifetime and thats without owning any DVDs or anything lol

Probably Frasier. I own the entire series, and I have lost count how many times I've seen each episode. Second to that, it's an equal tie between HIMYM, Scrubs, American Dad, Family Guy and The Simpsons.

All comedies. Huh.

The first series of Digimon. The Venture Brothers. Community is a wicked call, although that's purely for being completely in love with Alison Brie.

I'll see Fraiser and raise you Cheers. I don't think I've ever flipped the channel away from a rerun of Cheers.

If we're talking about geeky shows, I'd go with the Adam West Batman, followed by Batman Beyond, followed by the Bruce Timm Batman Animated series. Because Batman.

This happens to me all the time. I have actually been so sad by shows finishing that I literally just got straight back to eps 1 immediately after finishing. I just did that with friends a few months ago.

Futurama I can watch it a few times before I get all the jokes. Hell I was just watching it the other day and noticed they where making fun of broneys. But other than that the jokes are so funny I can watch it over and over.

I'm currently re-watching Hogan's Heroes, and I'm finding it to be equally as enjoyable as the last time I saw it. It really helps that there are 168 episodes, so unless you just plow through them all in the minimum 67.2 hours, you're not going to remember every single joke nor remember the episodes completely. Also one of the main things that makes it funny is the characters themselves, and considering their are about seven characters, they never get overused to the point where you get tired of them.

I was going to say Arrested Development when I saw the thread title. I've watched the entire series three times now in addition to rewatching individual episodes several times. There are so many things going on that you can't understand half of the jokes in one go.

Also, I could watch this man work over and over. A shame he only makes one appearance...

Friday Night Lights is also very rewatchable, because it's such a pleasure just to watch the actors do their thing, even if you know where every storyline's going

I'm actually watching Arrested Development RIGHT NOW.

OT: For me, just about anything. I can watch the same episode of a TV series twice in the same day without getting bored.

Pretty much every word of this, Even the small ones. I'm re-watching it as I type this.

How I Met Your Mother and Scrubs are pretty re-watchable too.

Hm, I have a few that I would like to watch over and over... Fraiser is a really good one, or even Fresh Prince on the other side of the spectrum.
