this is what i can remember:
hydrochloric acid
a highly toxic gas made by adding a acid and something else (it was orange in colour)
mercury
radiative material (Uranium-238 i believe)

in chemistry we did the best test ever
someone mixed up the beakers so we combined hydrochloric acid with.... hydrochloric acid. and then wondered why nothing was happening
Your mystery gas could have been Bromine.

I've handled Cyanides before, mostly Sodium Cyanide.

The most deadly toxin on the planet is believed to be the BSE prion protein. A single molecule is enough to eventually kill you. To work with it you have to wear a space suit which is burned when you are done.

Various household and agricultural poisons, mostly. But that's insignificant, because in the practice of firebreathing I have at many times had quite toxic chemicals in my mouth.

nitroglycerin if you can call that an chemical
otherwise it would be teargas
Wow, where did you do that? I've only held hydrochloric acid (very concentrated) and rocket fuel.

Hate to say it, but eating a banana will expose you to more hazardous radiation than playing with U-238. That boring stuff has a half-life of some 5 billion years...

And adding HCl to HCl can actually be quite nasty...if one is very concentrated, and the other is not.

*winky face* you know what I'm talking about. I had no tissues so I had to handle it

OT(and real): Probably ~20mol/L H2SO4

I would have to say either some homemade napalm, gaseous rocket fuel (that was actually school, it was a hydrogen/oxygen mix), or molten tin/lead amalgam.

i think a few other people have said this. but yeah, ethidium bromide, pretty much if you get it on you skin, you will get cancer. and, although not a chemical, MRSA is can be dangerous.

I once exploded a test tube of warm Hydrochloric Acid and Copper Oxide onto my arm. Was not pleasant but I managed to clear the acid off of myself before the skin starting burning. Had a very smooth arm for a while after, though.

Well, part of my work is with children with CP and I've been in the room when they've had a therapeutic botox injection, although I didn't handle the vial myself.

According to Wikipedia 4kg of botulinum toxin would be enough to kill the entire population of the world.

Dihydrogen Monoxide.

Induces excessive urination and sweating in humans.

A large enough dose will kill a human.
