Valkyria Chronicles. Received great reviews yet nobody bought it! It's really a unique take on strategy RPG's and there's nothing else like it. Story 'aint half bad either!

Body Harvest
Fuck, I remember that game. Don't have my copy of it anymore.

Come to think of it, my entire childhood is filled with obscure games--under all the Kirby and Mario 'n shit. The aforementioned Body Harvest, Mischief Makers, Rocket: Robot on Wheels (supposedly the first game to ever use a physics engine, and oh yeah, it's made by the same people who made Infamous or whatever), Tonic Trouble... Stuff like that.

I think, though, that I'm gonna say all of the above AND Zettai Hero Project. Really, even if you just hate anime comedy, you still have to admit that Nippon Ichi Software knows how to take a basic kind of game engine and turn it into something that is, at the absolute minimum, interesting.
i wish i had mine still. such a great game.. blocky graphics, but hey damn fun.

Contact on the DS. I think I've said this before though.

Besides if not for that game I would have no avatar.
Argh! You beat me to it. Such a wonderful game. I remember when I was at GameCrazy and couldn't make up my mind on a choice between two games. Then the employee brings up Contact (which of course I never heard of), so I say sure why not? Two days later I was so into it I didn't leave my room for hours at a time.

In a Tri-Ace game? I love 'em, but you'll forgive my skepticism.

You're confusing Valkyria Chronicles with Valkyrie Profile. Two entirely different franchises. Easy mistake to make though.

Valkyria Chronicles is made by Sega. You know, the good part of Sega. The same people that made Skies of Arcadia, another game that made it into this thread a little further up.

EDIT: I have no idea why I bold game titles... Just roll with it. ;)

I always Italicize them like english class taught me to do for movies and novels.
Favorite game for example: Final Fantasy VIII.

Oh yeah, I did confuse them. Yeah, I've heard nothing but good of Valkyria Chronicles and I plan on playing it soon enough.
