This was written in a thread asking for ideas for threads, and since I saw this one being put up I am going to proceed and create it.

Why?

Because of the fine Canadian delicacy known as poutine.

What is poutine? How could you make french fries more unhealthy? You! In the back! No, not slather it in mayonaise, that's Belgium (cookie for the reference, although it is a bit vague). How about gravy? And make it swim in the stuff. And why not add some cheese to it as well, your arteries can handle that much more cholesteral am I right?

The result of this mix is this:

And boy does it ever taste good.

Yes, this is real.
I tried poutine once, it was pretty good.
America also has the tendency to stick already unhealthy things in a deep fryer (Pizza, and candy bars come to mind), but I think we just copied the English in that respect.

Here we have a couple of "meat+dough cooked in boiling water" variations. It surely can't be too healthy.

I'm pretty sure there's a burger from a fast food place (I think it's Burger King) that has 2200 calories. 2200!

Ummm, I can't think of anything except Vegemite from Australia.
I was under the impression that vegemite was healthy, but then again that may just be Kraft's marketing department.

I'm from the US so most of our fast food options suck. But I think the winner is a carnival favorite: Deep Fried Twinkies. I've never had one but the thought makes my arteries clog. Also my aunt makes Scotch eggs, which is basically deep fried sausage from what I know of them.

What is vegemite anyways? I've heard of it before, but have no idea what it is. Please explain.

While the obvious answer is cheeseburgers, a little more thought brings to mind the awesomeness that is loaded potato skins. The only thing that rivals those is the fully loaded fries from Rallys (Checkers if you're from south of the Mason-Dixon line).

Similiar for me, except 2 or 3 years ago is when I first tried it. While I'm not crazy for it, it is good. My school used to make good poutine. Used. Now they don't. The gravy is like water now, and it tastes terrible. Not to mention that the fries and the gravy are both often served cold.

It's basically just salt that you put on your toast, I can't really explain what it is any better then that.

I'm going to say Beef Pies, lots of them. In Australia we eat them while chugging on VB and laughing around the barbie.

Also Kangaroo meat and Emu meat and any other animal from the Coat of Arms or beloved mascots of this country are fairly unhealthy. Yet Australia is the only country where it is legal to eat the animal embelems so we do it with pride.

.... now where did that Koala get to?

Yes, but it is sooooo good though.

I'm gonna have to go with all fast food. I think theres a quadrouple Whopper or something that actually tops the charts.
