kingston, ontario, canada.
There's a military base for all 3 branches (navy, airforce, army), there's a military college, fucking Fort Henry, one side is completely covered by water and it's largely self-sufficient.

Probably somewhere in Scandinavia or something.
Low population density, heavy terrain, not much fragile infrastructure, lot's of coastline in Norway with tiny unpopulated islands where you can feel safe.

Provided you can live on your own in nature, that is.

Alaska, there are no zombies in Alaska... so we head there.
actually the problem with that would be you'd have to check for zombies ounce before they freeze then after the thaw you'd have to watch out for zombies biting your ankles coming up from the snow they were earlier covered in and then thawed out
1. Resident Evil (Movie) reference.
2. They won't come out of the snow, snow is a solid 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Alaska is pretty lightly populated with loads of natural resources. Unlike Northern Canada I could easily if I had to, go back to town fight zombies there if at all and get the medicine/supplies I need.
