Brave New World. Has made me never want to have sex ever, for fear of becoming one of the characters.

Holy shit yes. Especially the ones categorized under "Real Life". Lost me a night of sleep, and I still get shivers when I think of them.
Katherine Knight and Anthony Comstock...*shudders* Remember, there is a reason the person who mentioned Ms. Knight was vague about why she is on that page. Do not go to The Other Wiki (TM) to find out why.

Well, I was pretty young when I Jurassic Park came and it influenced my perception of what kind of creatures dinosaurs were.

I am ashamed.

Also, The Lion King, among other erroneous material, made me think that hyenas are canines.

I have a few:

The spy who came in from the cold. Lesson: The good guy rarely wins.
The Bible. Lesson: Religion is just so contradictory.
The Discworld Novels. Lesson: (this is for the guard novels mostly) The world is a dark grey in colour.
Death Note. Lesson: Morality is a strange elastic thing.

I have more but couldn't be bothered listing them.

Death note, because I realized that even if you think your doing the right thing, many other people can say your doing the wrong thing. Or FLCL, made me realize the world is boring.

I found Comstock more disturbing myself. I'm pretty much impossible to scare with typical blood and guts murder, even if it's sick and depraved. Comstock, on the other hand, just astounded me with how moralistic and lawful stupid people can be.

Again, I only get a shiver at most from the absolute worst of it, I'm really more scared of the notion of the fear itself, if that makes sense. To quote FDR, there's nothing to fear but fear itself (ok, and the Tails Doll thing, and for me it stops really being scary the instant it smiles).

That movie isn't very accurate people are actually getting smarter each generation. Idiocracy assumes that learned ignorance is hereditary.

My own ones.

Wanted(comic): apparently ones self worth is decided by the amount of human and suffering that is caused.

The Jungle: depressingly accurate

Capitalism and Freedom: the alternate title is "I support multiculturalism by buying from 3rd world sweat shops.

American Psycho, the novel and to a lesser extent, the movie.
I can't put my finger on why, I just feel more cynical after reading it.

Code Geass made me think that sometimes it may be acceptable to do evil if it's for a greater good. Never thought I'd ever think like that.

Paranoia Agent made me realize just how desperate some one backed up in a corner can get and how taking the easy way out can ultimatly lead to the problems never actually being solved just covered up or delayed.

That movie gave me a headache, cause it's almost so true. Mike Judge is a genius.

1984 and Animal Farm, the first in that it has made me very passionate about the preservation of our rights and the other just made me bitter and cynical towards politics in general.
