DON'T. it passes waaaaaayyy beyond the line between bieng scary for entertainment, and fucking with your sense of reality and your soul. i still cant get some of the scenes out of my head, and ive gotten jumpy as shit, and i am very desensitized to this sort of thing

You do realize most people are going to take that as a RECOMMENDATION of the movie, right?

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that a hallmark of an excellent horror flick. Perhaps you bit off more than you can chew with this movie.

I found it to be brilliant, I haven't been that scared since the Exorcist.

Now, I have to watch it. Seriously, that's what everyone wants in a horror movie.

i agree with both your points. as far as these new "horror" films are concerned, this one tops the list

I'll probably go see it with my friends closer to Halloween. Is it really that scary?
I'd recommend watching it with someone else. That way you both can share the horror.

It's...yeah..a massive mindfuck!.

Ok, this just verified this movie for me. I haven't seen a really good horror movie...well almost ever.

Eh, it basically looks like Ghost Hunters + A Haunting - All the extra unwanted exposition from the "real" people talking about their "real" experiences...

Or maybe I'm just skeptical because not a single horror movie/game/television show/thing has EVER frightened me in the least. Except for SAW 1... And Silent Hill 2... And my closet back when I was a little kid...

Haven't seen a good horror movie in a while, maybe this will make me reconsider giving up on horror.

Based on the trailer it looks like the sort of scary film I might actually enjoy--not gory and disgusting with mutilations and nasty deaths; scary in the sense of 'WTF is going on here can we make this stop oh god it wont stop what is this'.

So yeah, I pretty much have to see this movie now.

I was thinking of giving the movie a pass myself, but having heard this I may have to go see it. You see, the thing is, now you've challenged me. Well, that and I'd like to add a fourth movie to the list of three movies that I still find legitimately scary. Because, considering the ammount of horror films I watch, three is far too short a list.
