Aint I lucky I grew up playing Zork and the like?
Actually I think we are... I was born in '87, my earliest memories of gaming as a hobby were from playing on the amiga and early PC's. I practically grew up with Lucasarts from Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (My favourite game evah!1), X-wing, Alone in the Dark, the game of the shot I just posted (hell, most of the shots I post are my favourites). We saw the implementation of serial cables and modems for peer to peer multiplayer. Sonic appeared in my pre-pubescent hands back in 91, Doom came and went, Sim City 2000, Command and Conquer, Goldeneye, Half-life, Halo, Morrowind and the list goes on... Surely it's been the best time to have grown up around games?

Any kid born in the mid to late 90's will probably never play all those great games, and If they do, they just wont love it as much, because of all the game mechanics and graphics that will be missing which they are now too accustomed. It doesn't help that you physically need an old machine to run these games again (at their best). I weep for the kids of today and how they will probably never play Day of the Tentacle or the original Worms or Commander Keen... They really don't know what they're missing...

-This has probably been the biggest post of this entire near 1000 page thread!

Some gameplay screens would be nice, unless this is one of those "second-person shooters" I've been hearing about.
That IS in-game, but if you wish.

Yes siree. A fine example of Australian made RTS, and both versions were great. Ever played it?
and for the record I was born in 1965 and my first computer was a Commodore 64.
Over to you.

Yes, I've played it. It's very good. Old games are 85% of what I play, so.

Alright. Moment.
