the next ones i want are either anthrax or flesh eating. can't decide.
Those things are actually so awesome.
My friend has bought one of almost every one they stock, definitely worth the purchase just to show off.

i was at an anime convention, i saw a weapons booth, being a lover of all things bladed i went to have a look at the shoddy decorative swords and knives they had and i saw it...a gunblade, almost perfectly modeled after squalls original, it even had a chain with griever coming off the "pommel"

400 bucks later and i owned me a kickass gunblade. i spent all of the money i saved up for the con on that, i didn't eat for the next two days because of it. i regret nothing.

My family went to New Zealand without me a few years ago and I was pissed because they (apparently) didn't get me anything. Turns out they were saving this for my birthday:
I was planning on giving that to a girl I know actually, but as it looks now I'll probably never meet her. 'Tis a shame. That or this necklace [http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/assasins-creed-charm.jpg], she's such a fan. Oh well, maybe another.

Oh and that R2D2 swimsuit is nerd-tastic.

Anyway, for me, I saw so many uber-nerdy items I'd die to have; a replica pulse rifle from Alien (amongst other fictional weaponry, both sci-fi and fantasy), the tauntaun sleeping bag (complete with intestine-patterned inside!), that super fantastic Big Daddy costume someone build, a fuckton of t-shirts and posters and I can keep going for quite some time.

Right now I just got an Ezio and Cylon figurine, some posters and 2 cool t-shirts (one Captain Hammer shirt and a cool BioShock one), but more shall be bought! This by the way used to be the nerdiest item I wanted, until I actually got it:

The detail on that poster is amazing.

This is a more realistic (in terms of price) alternative to the Tron bike:

How much!?
I think it's actually just a concept because I looked everywhere for one. I was just assuming that it will be less than the bike: twenty-five thousand pounds.

Pretty much anything on Think Geek. Ever.
I second this.
Most of my Christmas list is made of stuff from ThinkGeek. And I am not ashamed.
ALL of my Christmas list is comprised of things from ThinkGeek. Which is a problem since I live in Ireland, so they charge massive delivery, not to mention customs charges. I know for a fact that they've already been bought though ;)

Oh and last year, I got (from ThinkGeek again) an 8-bit tie. It's one of my prized possessions now :D

A few weeks ago I came across an ECTO-1 licence plate.

Still, 40 bucks for a licence plate when I don't even own a car...?

I still kinda regret not buying it though.

The best thing I saw was a bust of Shakespeare, where you could lift the head back and it had a button inside it :D

The best thing about it was that you wire the button into various appliances and it would function as a normal on and off switch.

Except cooler.

Yes that cylon there. You know, the blonde jesus. No I'm not crazy, not in this context anyway. Who wouldn't want a cylon, right?
...
Well I guess a plush companion cube would be cool...sigh

If you go to any convention, this kind of thing happens all the time. There's just so many varying degrees of awesome I can't describe, but if I had to pick... it'd have to be a tie between these

and this

most definitely. It's because they actually went out and made items called "health potions" and "mana potions" which were just in-game things, but now they're FUCKING REAL!!

Novelty stuff will always be awesome, but not as awesome as something truly manifesting itself into reality like these

edit: fixed images

See those things all the time. Asked the clerk about them, and he said they were nasty. Promptly put it back on the shelf, and walked off. :p

Referring to the potions, by the way.

A few months back, this went up for sale:

Needless to say it was several thousand dollars and awesome.
So...does it work? I mean, can you actually ride it, or does it just stand there?
That's the most brilliant part about the whole thing, yes it actually works.
Well, now I've seen it and want it.
It worked, it was $55,000, a lot uglier than you'd think (it benefits from being silhouetted and lit up, which the one you can buy is not), and can't turn. The front tire doesn't turn, so turning is limited to banking. It's also really uncomfortable looking to ride.
