The new Xbox 360 dashboard looks ridiculous..

I've never so much as glanced at any of the new features associated with the Avatars, big waste of effort by MS.

Other than that, I like the new dashboard, it doesn't look bad, and I find it's faster to find 'stuff' now.

No the themes and gamer pics are still usable, they just show in the background in a different style.

Heres what I think:
If something is broken, there is no need to fix it. Apparently, Microsoft doesen't get this.
The old Dashboard (Albeit not too pretty) was functional and pretty fast to boot. Now I get multiple lags. Was giving up functionality for stylized visuals really worth it?
Also, I can care less about the Avatars. Nintendo did it first, and they weren't very interesting then either.

If something is broken you should probably fix it...

Dang, that looks even worse that that "New Xbox Live Experience" which was awful. And mandatory.

Seriously, I can understand changing things up a little, ripping off other successful things, and trying to make your product appeal to a wider audience, but these changes are the only things I've seen to anything that I can remember that made everything harder to use without even a glimmer or intent of new/better features.

am i the only one who finds the new xbox live dashboard to be NOT that big of a deal, its not awful they added a lot of new cool stuff, so they copied the Wii who gives a shit, developers have been copying each other for like 25 years it never ends and is never going to end so just let it go and look at it in a positive way
