It is already confirmed: Call of Duty 6 is "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," by Infinity Ward. It will probably be about another fictional modern war, like the last Modern Warfare game.

This has been done at least three times in the forums. Please use the Search Button, it's there for a purpose. By the way the next one will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

If they're going to call it Modern Warfare 2, then it will not be a "numbered" CoD game, similar to World at War (though I still don't understand why *that* isn't numbered). Maybe this is the end of the numbered series, because WaW seemed to pretty much wrap up WWII.
CoD: WaW is enough like CoD4 to make me think that the next installment would have to be recommended by God for me to buy it.

Vietnam would be interesting, but you have to remember, it had a LOT of bad publicity, so you have to be careful in the way you handled it.

Off topic- Do you think Zombie Nazis only persecuted Zombie Jews? Or do they not discriminate by stages of decay or lack thereof?
Ontopic- I think it would be interesting if it got set in the jungle, it would set up some room to add new things into the gameplay and multiplayer.
