-Blue Moon Apartments-
As Phantom made his way back to the complex, his form moving between shadows cast on the ground and walls, he couldn't help still feeling frustrated at everything that had come up over the last hour. Riling up the public and giving them a false set of targets was an idea with some merit, but only if they stayed near the city.
"Why am I worrying so much?" He thought to himself as he slipped into the air conditioning ducts nearest his apartment. "They were barely walking around after that burial." Hoping the changes would work in their favor, he found the duct that lead to his kitchen.
As he entered, reforming himself to his human form, he noticed Dawn seemed to be looking around for him. "Sorry." Phantom said, grabbing a glass nearby. "I forgot to tell you I was leaving for a second."
-Lauren's Orphanage-
Heading back to the orphanage at Kiru's suggestion, Alex was ready to leave as soon as everything was in place. The others were still getting metals, but they had been gone for some time. "I hope they didn't run into any police this soon."
Inside the orphanage, things were both dark and quiet. No active lights, and no noise either. The kids were likely asleep or staying quiet until morning, but Lauren was nowhere in sight. Avoiding the wooden splinters of the busted door, he headed for the kitchen, thinking that was where Lauren would likely be.
