Enapay, on his hands knees had a dark red aura about him, now. It was pulsating in synch with his heart and you could feel every beat if you were within thirty feet of him. The noises of pain coming from him were more frequent. Also, the concrete under his hands was cracking as his eyes took on a bright red glow.
"Enapay, listen man, you've got to calm down. What just happened was misunderstanding, but you've got to chill or you could end up doing something you don't want to. And I don't know your powers well enough to know if either us will live to regret it, but I really don't want to find out." The voice was almost soothing, though anyone would have been. It was comforting for someone to understand even just a little bit.
"Besides, you still owe me a coffee, right?" Marcus said.
Enapay looked in Marcus direction and suprisingly, smiled a bit. "Heh..." The appeal at his off color humor touched him. The teen surveyed the scene, just now noticing how this state felt. How everything was in slow motion when he was like this, except him. He saw Ben throwing his first punch at Roar. "Man, I hate that guy..."
He then saw Dawn. She seemed so sensitive now. So un-used to conflict. What she didn't understand was that the copycat had made most of it neccessary. Everything was falling apart around him, and the copycat had started it all. "The blame belongs on his head," Enapay muttered to Marcus, frowning and nodding at Ben. "He needs to be forced to surrender."
Everyone, with the exception of Roar and Marcus, seemed so unsure. So lost. "Alright," Enapay thought sensibly. "Looks like it's time to be the rock."
"AGGHH!" One last jolt of pain. Enapay pressed his forehead to the cracking concrete and the pulse of his aura sped up to a startling pace before suddenly and frighteningly stopping. Enapay fell onto his side, suddenly drowsy and in normal condition. I took all he had not to pass out, right there.
"Thanks so much Marcus. That was nice. Just so you know, you owe me. Let's not forget who got soaked. And Dawn, could you please stop and calm down for me? You're making my migraine worse, over here," he said in an innocent tone. He gently tugged at Marcus' sleeve, so that he would help him off of the ground.
Once he was on his feet, Enapay clinched his bandaged fist and breathed soothingly. "So, how do you think we should handle this?" he asked Marcus, looking at Roar and Ben.
