Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughter House 5. The name of the species of Alien's capable of seeing Time in its entirety.

I'm a literary snob.

I just like the way it sounds, I've been using it since F.E.A.R (the only game I ever played on PC online)... Shit, that was a while ago... I prefer my friend's tag "Hamper-King".
o_O Is there a story behind your friend's tag?
Yup. He's fat.
Well alrighty then :)

Very good! He shows an allegiance to his sports team of choice. A fine example.

I got my name from inspiration of an xbox live tag, called ILIKEWAFFLES11!11!

But the problem is, I don't like waffles >:C
So I changed it to something I actually like, and how about the seals and hippos?

That's marvelous, I thought. I make my name by hippos, and my avatar with a blood-crazed seal.

PS: Don't look into his eyes for long, or you'll grow mad.

well, i like Angels... but not the stereotypical blond haired females who play the harp all day, no, i like badass angels :) - and what's more baddass then an angel with guns and an itchy trigger finger? :D
- so there you have the name: TriggerHappyAngel!

(i use it as much as i can and it's pretty unique, so (almost) every TriggerHappyAngel on the internetz is me :p)
Who doesn't love a badass angel? XD
glad to hear that someone shares my opinion :p

My GT comes from the fact that whenever a friend and I played Capcom Vs. SNK I would always pick Terry Bogard. Whenever I had a super gauge I'd use the move Bustawolf; and seeing as he always got hit by it, he started calling it Bustedwolf and then started calling me Bustedwolf whenever I picked Terry.

I chose 10BIT because:

1. One of the characters in 'Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor' uses the handle 10BIT(and I loved the game of course).

2. It's a term common in electronics/computer systems which I am studying at the moment.

3. 1023 (aka the maximum value that can be counted to using 10 bits) was the code I was assigned during school for my exams.

I've only recently changed it on the escapist (hated my original one).

This name comes from an ancient tale of popculture nostalgia, and bakery product.
(Go get a brandy and some old fashioned music if you can)

i was rewatching some episodes of "The animals of farthing wood" while reminicing of my school days: particularly of my food production classes, at that time i was thinking of when when made apple teacakes one day.
All of a sudden: Weasel's peircing cackle shot through my ears, as i was returning to the present i thought "Weasel........Teacake Weasel".

with that inspiration, i jumped into the air knowing that would be my online name for the rest of my life.

The end

and that is the origin of my ID, although there was some dramatisation to the event to make it interesting.

my real last name wouldn't fit on Persona 3

so I used Matsuda from Death Note and it just kinda stuck

I also use Error_014 sometimes, but I forget why...

Onyx is a cool looking gem stone.

Oblivion is my favorite game. EVER. It's the most replayable non-puzzle game ever.

and it's 100% pure fiction because the original tale is lost to me and only the bare facts remain.

thanks for the compliment.

My friends were at a church retreat (I wasn't, but oh well), and they were playing Halo 3 into the wee hours of the morning (Call of Duty 4 wasn't out yet). They told me after a certain point that when one of them managed to get a kill on the other one, they said, "I just pwned you. Exponentially." They also told me they got ridiculous with the "exponential" bit; saying things like, "I'm gonna love you, exponentially." Quoted per batem.
I liked the word exponential enough that I thought of using it as a gamertag on Xbox live. So, I did.

Then I found out you could change your name here, what a day that was. Goodbye, 4thegreatergood and hello, Xpwn3ntial!
