My last name is Hancock. The origin is generally thought to be British, but the actual meaning of the name is pretty much lost. "May have something to do with chickens" said one source. Lovely, I'm a chicken farmer.

Seeing as I have double-barreled... A SHOTGUN!
But actually Reed = Saxon From Rede, advice, counsel, help, or from the fenny plant, a reed.
George = (origin Greek) A husbandman, a farmer, from Tewpyde.

Think that's good? Well, time to overshadow that!

A street in the Central Coast
A castle in Scotland

Also, Herman Melville!

But if we're doing second names mine's Chance. I can't be bothered to look up how many things have chance in their names right now, but I'm willing to bet that there's quite a lot.

My name is boring and common. Smith. Funny thing is my dad actually works with metal though. But the boring name is made up for with a cool motto:
"Tenebras expillet et Hostes" Which is Latin for "He drives forth the darkness and the foe" No mention on anvils or horseshoes either.

Asaris is my surname, it is latvian (as that is where my family is from obviously lol) and it is a type of fish, a perch I think. Probably means I have family history of fisherman?

Jedi isn't legaly a religeon, there aren´t enough followers so there, I am under tyhe assumpsion that your sir name is Jed, in which case the only one actually named after you is the river, all others have been changed and the text editer will stand for ssomething no gives a shit about.
victory is mine :p

Jed's my first name (second's Chance, dunno why I didn't choose that. I totally would have won for things named after me, yay gambling!) but the town hasn't been changed, calling it Jedburgh is like calling it Jedville or Jedtown, they were obviously dedicating it to me. Also, Jediism should be a religion, it's just that for some reason the stupid government aren't giving in to gentle pressure from people trying to mess with the Census.
