Carbon of course! Not only are we carbon based, a Carbon-12 atom has 6p, 6n, 6e! Also makes my favourite acid, carbonic acid, which makes soft drinks soft. Also iodine, cobalt, technetium and americium, because of their radioisotopes... (You probably should have some americium-241 in your house!)

Fluorine, fire a stream of fluorine gas at anything and it explodes. It's pretty terrifying stuff.

K potassium. how they got potassium as K confuses me and it's in bananas so it's cool.
The K is for kalium. Its the latin name for potassium. It is similar to gold, silver, sodium, and mercury to name a few.

Personally I like oxygen since I like breathing.

Element Zero...

...but on a serious note I would say Iron (Fe) because you can use it to cut, build, and defend.

I guess Chlorine if I have to put an element down :S

Something about the 35.5 and ability to choke people... but whatever.

Wait, I figured out my fave of all time! Bolonium, who's atomic weight is delicious. (also accepted is snacktacular).

Dozens of cookies to whoever gets the ref.

I'm pretty fond of Potassium (K), mainly 'cause it's so damned reactive, and yet a stabilizer for a lot of the stuff we use in schools (potassium permangenate etc.)

Also, it's awkward, 'cause the NAME begins with 'p' but the symbol is a 'k' :D

N potassium #19, it explodes when it comes in touch with air or water, that is the element they showed in chemistry class to get us excited about chemistry. Big booms element just gets me.
DAM it! I had just gotten it down to two and then you had to throw in that little gem. I can never remember the name of that element, only what it does. Guess I can't really say it's my favorite then. Oh yeah and my two favorites are Fe (Iron) and C (Carbon). Why you ask? because they combine to make STEEL, the Alloy that made America Great! Gold is pretty but useless for practical purposes. We use gold to buy MORE steel.
Gold is useful in electronics for it's nonreactive nature and conductive nature.

I Forgot about that! Man, this is harder than it has any right to be.
At least we aren't going into compounds. Otherwise I would have to go titin.
