Honestly, I'm not that fuzzed about which version I am going to get. Probably just going throw a coin or something. Though I might get Y, cause I am liking the looks of Yveltal.Hero of Lime said:Great! I'm having lots of fun so far, which version are you getting Morsomk?
Makes sense, I just went with X to get the mega Charizard that's in that version. I also thought it would be nice to have a fairy legendary so I went with Xerneas.Morsomk said:Honestly, I'm not that fuzzed about which version I am going to get. Cool, I myself am not going to get the 1st gen starters on my team though. Just pure 6th gen and nothing else.Hero of Lime said:Makes sense, I just went with X to get the mega Charizard that's in that version. I also thought it would be nice to have a fairy legendary so I went with Xerneas.
I was going to do that, but the promise of a Torchic and Charmander got the better of me. However, there is a Pokemon who makes an appearance that might change your mind.Morsomk said:Cool, I myself am not going to get the 1st gen starters on my team though. OMG Redlin you now start with 2 Pokemon instead of 1!Redlin5 said:*sigh*

*waits for the new Pokemon news to blow over*
I'm trying that, but there doesn't seem to be very many new Pokemon, but my older-gen stuff will be replaced if I find a cooler 6th gen Pokemon. Might as well answer your question, too, I picked Chespin, and boxed Bulbasaur. You still haven't got your copy? Damn, that sucks. Well, it's been great so far, so you have plenty to look forward to.Morsomk said:Cool, I myself am not going to get the 1st gen starters on my team though. Just pure 6th gen and nothing else.
Edit: Also a question, which starter did you pick?
Makes me sad to just think about it. I thought my desire to play the game had gone after Black and White, but when I finally got around to playing White 2, it was there, strong as ever.Redlin5 said:Stahp. I already said farewell to Pokemon. I don't need more incentive to spend my money poorly and put school money into a 3DS... It's a hard thing saying goodbye to a series you love... But I'm glad I'm doing it this way. Gen V and I are leaving each other as friends.
I know you're joking, but that fact really doesn't appeal to me at all! I was downright confused by the sheer number of people talking about training both starters, and Torchic!Johnny Novgorod said:OMG Redlin you now start with 2 Pokemon instead of 1!
I don't think it's getting released in Argentina until later. Anyway I don't even own a 3DS and I'm not about to either. I'd absolutely play it, but it's too pricy for me. Maybe later.Hero of Lime said:I was actually going to make a post myself. Were able to get a copy Johnny?
That sounds so tragic, your self control is amazing.Redlin5 said:Stahp. I already said farewell to Pokemon. I don't need more incentive to spend my money poorly and put school money into a 3DS... Pikachu promised a worldwide release in the first trailer. It lied to us! Well, I hope you get to play it soon, it's pretty great so far.Johnny Novgorod said:I don't think it's getting released in Argentina until later. I picked Froakie, I usually go for fire starters, but I'm using Charmander and Torchic so I didn't want too many fire types in one team. Plus, Froakie's final form looks the best out of the three for me personally.Morsomk said:Cool, I myself am not going to get the 1st gen starters on my team though. Which version do you have? If you have Y, we can maybe trade for exclusives.Headsprouter said:I'm trying that, but there doesn't seem to be very many new Pokemon, but my older-gen stuff will be replaced if I find a cooler 6th gen Pokemon. I have X, unfortunately. But I'll be fine for exclusives, seeing as my little brother has Y. If you need anything I could simply just get it from him and then trade it to you.Hero of Lime said:Which version do you have? If you have Y, we can maybe trade for exclusives.
Going on your earlier point, it's really hard to resist going for only gen 6 Pokemon when they throw so many good old ones at you. It doesn't help this generation gets the smallest roster addition.
That's fine, at least your team is unique. Mine is three starters, a fossil(Tyrunt), Honedge, and a Pikachu who I use for paralyzing Pokemon I want to catch. If I ever desperately need a Y exclusive, I may take you up on that offer. Though my team will probably be set in stone once I have Xerneas and maybe the legendary trio master(I forget its name at the moment.)Headsprouter said:I have X, unfortunately. Yeah, I see what you mean, though. I was worried I wouldn't find many gen 6 Pokemon I'm super interested in training so I picked up a Dunsparce and a Combee. The Combee is now an epic Vespiquen of Power-Gemming doom. The Dunsparce is doing surprisingly well! He's probably my most reliable team member. I'm getting my little brother to trade me a Heracross, too, because bug types kick ass. Especially the fighting ones.
A bit of gushing over my team, there...couldn't help it.![]()
Oh, cool. I have a Tyrunt as well, but he's just kind of tagging along, leeching off of the Exp. Share. Might use him if I don't find that bug-that-isn't-Vivillon I've been looking for. I have to say, though, Vivillon's lovely wing animation did tempt me...Hero of Lime said:That's fine, at least your team is unique. I'm still a bit angry at myself for spoiling the Trio Master, mainly because I like to have them be a surprise. I remember finding Kyurem in Black without knowing about it, and it blew my mind.Headsprouter said:Oh, cool. I have a Tyrunt as well, but he's just kind of tagging along, leeching off of the Exp. I don't even know what the trio master looks like, never mind what it's name is. To be honest, I don't really want to know, either. I like surprises, it's what's made this generation so exciting to play through.
I've seen in-game images of MegaHeracross and MegaPinsir. I hope they were legit.
