Awesome! I've heard lots of people claim getting shiny Pokemon at greater rates in X and Y, I wonder if they lowered the odds for getting them.

So anybody want to refloat this thing?

I would be cool with it, which type of game would we do? The last letter game, or the type game?

Yeah, I gotta admit, that did cross my mind. Not sure what my opinions on the lowering the odds are. But I suppose 1/8000 and something is a bit much considering you rarely find close to 500 Pokemon in a single playthrough.

I'd be up for a drawing game. It'd be different.

I would like to do the drawing game, though I think we would have to change the format a bit. Instead of alternating between Pokemon, we would each update with our own pictures of all the Pokemon when we can. Or we could each choose a generation and update when we can.

He came up with the idea so he would definitely be for it. I wish I avoided more spoilers for X and Y, but it got hard when Pokememes and the internet in general were spoiling things left and right.

We could draw them in order. Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, etc. All the way through X and Y. Include Mega evolutions as well (also in order, i.e., Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Mega Venusaur). And we could post the Pokemon's name ahead so we won't step on each other's toes.

As soon as I saw the first spoiler, I completely abandoned pokememes and the gaming side of memebase in general. I'm only halfway through X (I presume) but it's certainly a candidate for one of my favourite generations. I think the main thing making it so good is the discovery aspect of it.

And everything else. Seeing Pokemon done justice in 3D, etc.

As for Pokememes, I won't return until I've discovered every new Pokemon for myself. Like I said before, I don't even know what the Z legendary looks like! Pretty exciting.

Yup, seems fine. At one point in the anime image game things did get pretty crazy with ninja-posting...

Order is good. Makes the road to completion much easier to track and keeps the thread moving as people want to make it to their favourite Pokemon.

I beat the champion last night, definitely one of my favorite Pokemon games. I would still consider Black and White my favorite of the series, but by far the 3D presentation is my favorite style now. So when they make Fiery Black and Electrifying White in eight years with full 3D battles, it will be glorious.

Ok, whatevs. At the minute the only thing on my mind is a possible confirmation. I just found a shiny Dugtrio.

So, yeah. Implications of that and stuff are the boost in the likelihood of finding shinies, as you mentioned.

Man everyone is getting shinies in X and Y but me it seems, which is funny since I've had a lot of luck with shinies in other games... I probably would've called the Dugtrio Flooregard personally. xD

Sounds good, I will probably do it in the order of the Pokedex, though I won't be posting as often for sure.
