One of the first in the "just add two others to make an evolution" Pokemon collection. Magneton is cool and all, but this design bugs me just as much as the likes Trubbish and Klinklang.
Seals in Gen V? All I can think of is Samurott's family, and those were sea otters...Walrein is a kick-ass seal, though, with a lovable evolutionary chain.
Anyway, Grimer. I think it's cool. I like its goofy smile. I like poison types in general...
Vivillon? At the moment it looks like it will work just like the Caterpie, Weedle, and Wurmple families, so yeah, not the most original idea, would be nice if it was a bug/fairy type.
For once, an water type I can take down with fire effectively, considering lots of ice/water types also have thick fat as an ability.
The first gen was anything but perfect. So ridiculously broken. But at the end of the day, it's the designs that count, and the first gen had just as many cool designs as any other gen. Like Gengar!
But IS it Clefable's shadow? Or Clefable's DoppelGENGAR!??
Krabby - specifically Krabby's debut - taught me two things: 1) You can apparently catch Pokemon without putting much of a fight (is it my memory or does Ash catch it single-handed with a freakin' TWIG?) and 2) You can only carry 6 Pokemon with you. Any surplus is teleported to Bill's PC.
