Abra's my favorite Pokemon. I decided this very early in my life for no real reason, and have been retroactively justifying it ever since. I love the design, the sleepy grumbling, the ability to Teleport (which I think is as awesome a super power as you can get) and the whole Psychic thing overall, which I've always been a fan of (he's usually the first Psychic type you get, or I do anyway in Gens I and II). He's also a poor man's choice for Fly very early in the game, and cuts down on Escape Ropes significantly. They're also hard as hell to catch, so respect for that. I usually ended buying one at the Game Corner.

I've always preferred the Bellsprout family to the Oddish family, a shame I would always play Red/FireRed more than Blue/LeafGreen.

Dat Shuckle! X3

Curses! Ninja'd!

Weepinbell's cute. I always preferred this evolutionary tree to it's counterpart, Oddish's tree.

...on the topic of fighting types, I find myself with a fondness for many of them.

Tentacool. The Zubat of the sea. It's really good, in the end, though, just like Zubat's final result, in fact...

I should mention that last image had me rollin'.

Tentacruel wreaks havoc in this neverrarely-aired-in-the-West episode which was deemed a bit too soon for broadcasting.

Actually, that episode was aired eventually, I remember seeing it, especially the part in the end where Misty appeals to the Tentacruel, asking him to stop.

Anyways, GEODUDE! He's got a special place in my heart, I always trained him back in the day. I could never pass him by. I have a Graveler now in my Nuzlocke challenge. Not sure what the rules say about evolving it, though.

Here's another dude I'm fond of. I always load my Geodude/Graveler with Strength and Rock Smash so I can bypass most physical obstacles while keeping my "HM Team" to a minimum (starter Pokemon invariably gets Cut, Togetic gets Flash & Fly, some random water dude gets Surf). And much like my Abra/Kadabra, poor Graveler will never see his evolution because TRADE.

My old DS still works, so evolving Pokemon via trading has never been an issue for me. Also siblings are useful. On the topic of Golem, he's awesome, and I wish he could whip out a reflector shield like that. Rock/Ground needs to die, seriously. I never want to see that type mix used again. The same goes for Ice/Grass. Speaking of which, I wonder what the worst type mix possible is?

I supposed ground-electric type Stunfisk is pretty silly.
Never cared much for Ponyta. Never cared much for any fire Pokemon other than the fire starter, really.

Same. Fire types are pretty dull, I'm a fan of bugs...I passed by a Ponyta during my Nuzlocke challenge because they're well...boring. As you can probably guess, I have little to say about Rapidash.
I like Stunfisk. I think it's cute, but the type mix makes it weak to water, and that don't make a lick o' sense. They should have negated that fact by giving it water absorb.

Slowpoke's OK. I'm always a little aback the way they hold off against grass and electric attacks.
Too bad he's become Pokemon's resident idiot meme.

I can't wait to play the new generation of Pokemon games, Diamond and Pearl look awesome!

I would've made a Slowpoke joke, but I have Slowbro, so ummm...the Cloyster on its tail never looked like a Cloyster to me.

I love fire types usually, but I agree that while Ponyta and Rapidash look cool, their learn set is kinda lame.

The first time I saw a Magnemite I was sure it wasn't a Pokemon, because I thought they were all supposed to be organic.
