I feel for the people in the congregation, it must have been terrifying, Id bet there were women and children there too.

I mean yeah, I would be scared and terrified too. I also feel sorry for those people, who saw a man they had known for a very long time get shot during a sermon. But it wont be long before someone puts some bullshit spin on it in favor of their religion. That's what these stories bring about, and that's what pisses me off. that reminds of a story I either heard or saw, can't remember where for the life of me, oh wait it was some comedian or another during the standup showdown, but basically, this guy had a bible under his shirt, and was shot, and the bible actually took the bullet and saved his life.

Well there are lot's of stories about bibles, and even regular books catching bullets. Some are true, some are myths

yeah true, and since it was a comedian, I am somewhat skeptical of its believability.
