DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
This place was strange.
To make matters more confusing for the eye-patched female, she recognized
absolutely nothing about the surroundings and people that went with it. Surely, Lucy asked herself quizzically, dreams were comprised of random elements encountered and processed within your memory?
She sighed once more, making a mental note not to make sense of this...place.
Pleasantly, she had inadvertently attracted the attention of a rather stylishly dressed scientist individual. Lucy leaned over the counter and extended her hand towards the stranger. It was awkward enough as it was, but she could work with awkward...kinda...
"Sorry about that - was trying to get the attention of someone that can provide me with a bottle of something I'll regret." Lucy's expression and tone shifted from guarded to cautiously optimistic. "Lucy Black, it's a pleasure."
While Lucy was talking, she was eventually served apparently, wordlessly at that. Was shouting from the patrons required? She never did have much experience at the whole bar-scene. Moriarty's was one place you steered clear of in Megaton.
"It reminds me of these stories I read about The Red Menace and The One-Eyed Gauss Girl -"
...what?
"E-excuse me for a sec..." she uttered towards her stylish acquaintance as her eye widened in shock.
Lucy was the only one that ever referred to Sylph as the 'Red Menace', clearly she had Sylph on the brain, especially if this was leaking into her dream...
Turning to look at the younger girl that never replied to her, she was greeted with utter surprise.
"Oh - my - gawwwwwwww-"
Those were the last few words uttered from the curly-haired female before making the telltale notions towards collapsing. Recognizing this, Lucy bolted to catch the female from behind, cradling her for the most part while lowering her head into her lap once they reached the floor.
"Looks like someone had a little too mu-..." The Gauss Girl stopped mid-sentence when she noticed that this patron's drink was merely a nuka-cola. "...are you allergic? rad-poisoning?" Lucy's voice grew slightly more concerned. "Come on, wake up..."
Lucy was not a doctor, but she had picked up odd bits of trivia and signs from her time spent in the company of Moira Brown and Doc Church.
Dreams were weird...
