Well, I have Diablo for Playstation, apparently that's pretty rare.
Oh and also I have this other PS1 game called Death Trap Dungion which...is pretty much a poor man?s Nightmare Creatures.
And I also Own Jersey Devil. Apparently that game is also considered rare now.

It looks exactly like this:

One of my favorite games that ever fit on a floppy.
I sorta remember that! Can't remember what it was about, nor do I own a copy, but until now I'd completely forgotten about it.

Don't think I own any rare games, I suppose most of those were on consoles and I was mostly a PC gamer. I did get a bunch of massive floppies for the old terminal in my grandparents' attic, but those went bye-bye after it died. Still got the well-built keyboard though, just can't use it as it's got some ancient RJ11 plug and converting it to PS2 or USB would take a lot of complicated work.

There are a few old-time computer games I owned. One was a 3 on 3 Michael Jordan basketball game that was TONS of fun! (Made by EA before it became the devil corporation that it is now...), Stunt Island (a Disney game that's exactly what it sounds like... one mission had you in a flying bird and you had to drop eggs on a police car... that was so hard, and yet fun!), UnNatural Selection (a game where you had to breed monsters to battle other monsters on a deserted island... I didn't understand what I was doing with it when I was 8, but if I had the chance to play it now, I'd probably do soooo much better!). There's also some old Atari games that the family owned like Alphabet Soup and an E.T. game.

I recall owning this odd FMV Adventure/Puzzle game I guess called Jewels of the Oracle. It's similar to Myst in which you need to solve alot of puzzles to unravel the mystery behind the place you discovered.

This is what it basically looks like.

The only one I can think of that might be slightly rare is Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube.

I'd have to say FFVI Advance, perfect condition with box and all. Not particularly rare in itself but if you try and buy it nowadays you'll have to go through a mountain of fakes just for an original copy.

EDIT: Just checked, going for £80 used on Amazon without the box or instruction.

I had it once from gaming magazine, later the CD got scratched and i wanted to get a new copy but I couldn't find a single place where they would sell it. Even pirating was hard (as there was no other choice), even after a long search I could either get a version without a music, which was once of the best parts of the game, or version in german which at that time I couldnt understand at all.

I've got The Neverhood for PC. I never realized it was a sought after game until a few months ago. I've also got Legend of Legaia, Digimon World 1 and 3 for the ps1. Those all go for around 45 on amazon. Most of my games aren't rare, but I would consider them uncommon and they are all valuable to me.

The rarest game I got is one that is called Addiction Pinball, by Team17. The game has two tables, but somehow Team17 decided to bury the World Rally Fever table and sold only the Worms Pinball game from one point in time forward. I actually like the World Rally Fever table the best.

I own Tales of Symphonia and Legend of Zelda Collector's edition for my GameCube. I actually bought the Zelda one before I even owned a GameCube. Saw it at GameStop for $40 dollars and went, "MINE!"

But Suikoden II is the rarest and most valuable game I own. Years ago, my brother bought me Suikoden for my birthday. We both loved it, but didn't like the ending. When we saw Suikoden II sitting on the store shelf at EB Games, we were baffled that there was a sequel and I immediately bought it. We were so thrilled when it turned out that Flik and Viktor weren't dead, and seeing all the other characters from the first game come back was amazing. It wasn't until ten years later when I mentioned the game to my friend that his jaw hit the floor. He said it was worth several hundred dollars now. Last time I checked, it's worth $200. Sometimes I wonder what I'd get if I sold all five of the games in a bundle.

Me too. I don't really know how my collection ranks, but I think Tales of Symphonia is fairly rare. I have also heard that Donald In Maui Mallard is rare, but I don't know.

Im not so sure about rarity but some of the trickier ones to find that I have picked up are Metal slug 3,Zone of enders,Okami and beyond good and evil all on the ps2 and they were all great games.
Nothing I love better than finding a quality game I knew nothing about on a dusty shelf somewhere.

I almost forgot but I got deus ex a while back, how could I have forgotten that?

I think the rarest game I ever owned was Tomba 2. I do wish I still had it though. Shame it's so expensive these days.

I hear Tales of the Abyss on the 3DS is somewhat rare too.

I have ff7 with for ps but not that valuable anymore, I'm gonna say my dot hack collection for ps2 is the most expensive. with my collectors edition of Gu 1 being the most expensive due to what it came with and dot hack 4 being the most expensive single game.

All tohther the collection worth around $250.

I got the MGS3 substance collectors edition which was at $80 but I don;t remember.

I don't think I have any truly rare games - I do have boxed (collector's where possible) copies of every Age of Empires game ever made, though. Does that count?
